Storytelling and scripting for all creative projects.
You will be required to script for digital content in all styles, forms and lengths - social, entertainment, news, documentaries, short, mid and long form.
Ensure all published content meets internal quality standards - story authenticity, fact checking, spelling, grammar, style, consistency with the Pulse brand voice, adherence to Pulse editorial guidelines, full respect for copyright laws, etc.
Assist as needed with post-production of social media videos using Wochit, other short video formats, original video formats (including client projects), and assist also with the creation of new templates and formats using Wochit.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in English, Film Production, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or related field with 0 - 1 year work experience.
Ability to craft engaging scripts and compelling narratives for various projects, including client projects, in different styles, forms, and lengths.
Attention to detail and commitment to ensuring quality control of all published content
Strong organizational skills to script, storyboard, set deadlines, and select optimal forms of media for projects, while working independently or as part of a team to establish project deliverables.
Proactive attitude towards staying up-to-date on the latest trends in digital media and contributing to team learning sessions and knowledge sharing.
We are is looking for a Producer to join the team. The role involves producing engaging video content for Pulse and its clients, from concept development to post-production.
You will oversee ideation, scripting, shooting, and editing, collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
Additionally, you'll manage project timelines, budgets, and legal aspects, while supervising a creative team and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies. You'll also support the Head of Video with innovative strategies to drive company growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
Produce highly engaging video content for Pulse.
Develop and pitch creative ideas and concepts, choosing the appropriate media and style to meet the brand’s objectives.
Oversee ideation, scripting, shooting and post-production for all Pulse client projects.
With the use of AI, you will also script ideas and proofread it to the best output using precise prompts in AI softwares for all Pulse projects and Pulse client projects.
Collaborate with operations/account management/sales team to ensure the seamless execution of all client campaigns.
Oversee timelines for all Pulse client projects, ensuring videos are delivered to schedule.
Coordinate a team of creative talents, technical crew, and other external resources to ensure effective workflows and processes.
You will organise shooting schedules, obtain relevant permits when shooting on the field, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and health and safety laws.
You will be responsible for securing appropriate rights, licenses and clearances for video usage, image usage and soundtrack usage, and resolving all other factual or legal concerns.
You will supervise post-production to ensure quality control, including proofreading and cross-checking facts, spelling, grammar, writing style, design pages, photos, images, sound, colour, etc.
You will be accountable to a budget, managing costs at all stages of production to ensure the best value possible for Pulse.
You will oversee video editors to ensure proper organisation and safekeeping of video footage and logs.
You will keep abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly video and design programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3ds Max, After Effects and other programs from the Adobe Creative Suite.
Support the Head of Video by actively proposing and helping to implement new and innovative strategies in order to meet and exceed the company’s overall revenue and profit targets.
Be an ambassador for the Pulse brand by representing Pulse at events, taking on speaking opportunities, participating in panels and other discussions in the wider media and entertainment communities in your role.
