The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing the sales team, and driving revenue growth. This role will work closely with other departments, such as marketing and product management, to ensure alignment and effectiveness in achieving company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve or exceed annual revenue targets.
Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Set individual and team sales goals, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback to optimize results.
Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and make data-driven decisions.
Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute lead generation and customer acquisition strategies.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
Negotiate and close complex deals, ensuring profitable and long-term business relationships.
Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasting, and reporting processes.
Continuously improve sales processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Pharmaceutical Sales preferred.
Extensive knowledge of healthcare required
8+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a sales management role.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a [relevant industry/sector].
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to derive insights and make strategic decisions.
