    Experienced Sales Engineer

    Job Summary

    • The Experienced Sales Engineer will be responsible for managing key client accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored engineering solutions. The role requires a deep understanding of industrial systems and a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in technical environments.

    Skills & Specifications

    • B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field
    • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in sales engineering or technical sales
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
    • Strong knowledge of engineering products and systems within the Manufacturing and Oil & Gas sectors, including valves, pumps, compressors, pipelines, turbines, and automation
    • Solid understanding of industrial processes
    • Strong capacity to recommend cost-effective and technically sound solutions based on client needs and operational challenges
    • Familiarity with installation, maintenance, and lifecycle performance of industrial equipment
    • Strong negotiation and commercial awareness (pricing, margins, contracts)
    • Excellent client relationship management skills (especially with engineers, procurement teams, and decision-makers)
    • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
    • Experience with CRM tools, sales forecasting, and pipeline management
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    • The Entry-Level Sales Engineer will support the sales team in delivering technical solutions to clients while developing core competencies in engineering sales. This role is ideal for candidates eager to build a career in technical sales within the Manufacturing and Oil & Gas sectors.

    Skills & Specifications

    • B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
    • 1–2 years’ experience (NYSC or internship acceptable)
    • Basic understanding of engineering products used in Manufacturing and Oil & Gas environments, such as valves, pumps, and industrial equipment
    • Willingness and ability to quickly learn product specifications, applications, and industry use cases
    • Basic understanding of industrial processes and how engineering equipment supports operations
    • Ability to interpret technical information and communicate it clearly to clients
    • Strong willingness to work in a target-driven sales environment
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
    • Strong attention to detail and organization
