    Relationship Managers - Public Sector Directorate Kano

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

    • Actively supporting the team’s client retention strategies by providing excellent service to customers.
    • Serve as the primary daily service contact for the clients 
    • Conduct accounts reviews to track customer needs and usage trends 
    • Track and maintain customer data/information 
    • Initiate the development of products required to meet customer needs 
    • Market the Bank’s products to meet customer needs 
    • Ensure efficient service and maintenance of existing customers 
    • Perform all other duties as may be assigned by the Business Manager.
    • As part of the Bank’s Information Security requirements, maintain the security of all Information entrusted to the staff and comply with the principles and policies in the Information Security Handbook

    EDUCATION.

    • Minimum Education: HND / B.Sc. in any discipline, with minimum of Upper Credit for HND and 2.2 for B.Sc 
    • MBA/ACCA or post graduate education as added advantage

    EXPERIENCE.

    Product Manager, TB Products Development- Transaction Banking

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Define strategy for products based on overall direction of the bank
    • Define product budget /target and ensure realization in collaboration with sales specialists and relationship managers
    • Elaborate recommendations and ensure implementation and efficiency
    • Define targeted market shares, sales forecasts and profitability objectives
    • Constantly adapt to the evolution of the market, detecting and studying the potential opportunities to create a new product and/or ensure the adaptation of current products
    • Obtain market intelligence reports and advise sales leads to technical sales specialists
    • Oversee collection of information directly or indirectly related to all products to propose areas of development (market analysis, evolution, competitors’ activities, etc.
    • Manage relationships with key partners
    • Workforce training on product usage 
    • Regular benchmark TB offerings of other banks to ensure competitiveness
    • Periodically analyze product performance by customer segment/location/BU etc and take appropriate action
    • Work closely with Sales teams, Information Technology team and Operations to develop and enhance products
    • Assess demand in the market for products to determine the need to develop or enhance products
    • Plan out how to efficiently roll out and implement product schemes
    • Support Product Sales when announcing new changes in products
    • Conceive products in relation with Risk, Finance, Operations, Legal and Compliance Units.
    • Work with marketing team to define most suitable media plan (type of media, period, frequency, etc.) to create awareness of new and existing products
    • Monitor product performance periodically and provide performance report to management based on results obtained vs. targets.
    • Oversee analysis of results of launching new product/development
    • Follow-up on relevant indicators (e.g. turnover, pricing, market share, etc.
    • Ensure team has necessary skills and knowledge required for current and future needs
    • As part of the Bank’s Information Security requirements, maintain the security of all Information entrusted to the staff and comply with the principles and policies in the Information Security Handbook.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Education 

    • Minimum Education:  First Degree in any related discipline. MBA or advance degree equivalent in Business administration, Finance or related field is an added advantage

    Business Intelligence Officer- Transaction Banking

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide centralized coordination of all the activities of the Transaction Banking Group
    • Monitor the performance of the Group on various Key Performance Indices
    • Liaise with BPM for scorecard management of all teams in Transaction Banking Group
    • Coordinate the development of the Group’s strategy and drive attainment.
    • Coordinate Group Retreats, QPR meetings and other related activities of the Group
    • Monitor adherence to and implementation of agreed strategies for the Group
    • Provide coordinated support at a Group level to Business Units in responding to requests including QPR participation, data provision and analysis of performance, by ensuring the Group is adequately represented at such sessions and relevant information are disseminated.
    • Interface with all units of the Transaction Banking Group to ensure excellent service delivery to both internal and external customers.
    • Coordinate performance reporting of Transaction Banking products and services on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis to management (MANCO, ALCO, and Board) and bank-wide for business decisions.
    • Coordinate liaison with HCMD on HR requirements of the Group
    • Interface with all stakeholders both internal (Business Units and other departments) and external (vendors and service providers) to provide consolidated Transaction Banking Information
    • Develop and review TB products development and reporting templates for the Group
    • Coordinate all TB internal/external communication in liaison with M&CC.
    • Track and monitor timely performance of deliverables (e.g. customer solution deployments, issues resolutions, etc.) across all units of TB and report same to Group Head TB.
    • Perform industry competitive benchmarking to review TB products performance compared to other banks.
    • Prepare and ensure the implementation of TB operational/administrative budget and monitor full compliance 
    • As part of the Bank’s Information Security requirements, maintain the security of all Information entrusted to the staff and comply with the principles and policies in the Information Security Handbook.
