    Regional Director - Remittance (B2B and FX Sales)

    Role Overview

    • We are seeking a highly strategic and commercially driven leader to spearhead the growth of our B2B remittance and FX trading portfolio across Africa, with a particular focus on West African markets. This role requires a blend of business development expertise, FX market understanding, and strong partner negotiation skills to deliver market-leading growth and competitive advantage.

    Key Responsibilities

    Portfolio Growth & FX Panels

    • Drive portfolio onboarding growth to create and expand FX panels for trading, as well as remittance pay-in and pay-out channels
    • Develop innovative onboarding models to attract high-value partners and clients into the FX and remittance ecosystem

    Strategic Business Planning

    • Design and implement an overarching business strategy that leverages the global FX strategy as a mechanism for sustainable growth
    • Align regional strategies with global objectives to maximize market penetration and profitability

    Market Expansion

    • Lead the launch and expansion of B2B remittances across strategically prioritized markets in West Africa
    • Build and execute MNO vs local aggregator strategies to drive market share and accelerate adoption

    Collaboration & Alignment

    • Work closely with the FX Trading Team to coordinate market launches, expansion activities, and pricing strategies
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure operational readiness, compliance, and partner onboarding efficiency

    Business Development & Integration Management

    • Manage and prioritize business development integrations that directly contribute to B2B remittance and FX trading growth
    • Ensure alignment of integration roadmaps with resource, skillset, and capital constraints

    Commercial Negotiations

    • Renegotiate commercial terms on existing contracts to optimize costs and improve partner margins
    • Structure deals for B2B and C2C remittance payouts, marketing investments, and working capital/funding arrangements

    Competitive Positioning & Market Share Growth

    • Develop and execute strategies to achieve targeted market share gains versus competitors
    • Identify and capture opportunities in underserved or high-potential corridors

    Pipeline Development

    • Build and maintain a robust growth pipeline that aligns with company capabilities and strategic priorities
    • Continuously evaluate and prioritise market opportunities based on ROI, competitive landscape, and scalability potential

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in, cross-border payments, or B2B remittance markets
    • A minimum of Bachelors Degree in any related discipline.
    • Strong understanding of African financial ecosystems, particularly West African markets
    • Track record in strategic business development and delivering revenue growth
    • Exceptional commercial negotiation skills with experience in deal structuring
    • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships
    • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills

    State Head - Aggregator Network

    About the Role:

    • As the State Head (Aggregator Network), you are the CEO of the region, responsible for regional performance and individual state under purview.
    • You must be self-driven, result oriented and most importantly - An A player. You are primarily responsible for shaping and driving your region's growth strategy to correctly position it within landscape in Nigeria by working with the Head of Retail Banking in cementing the FairMoney strategy of becoming the largest neobank in Nigeria.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Source for new clients and expand client network in the retail marketplace (Agents and consumers)
    • Develop and maintain market dominance by ensuring acquisition, retention and Month on Month growth in acquisition and loan conversion in market segment
    • Drive corporate strategy in Schools, Markets, Partnerships with OFIs/Super Agents/ Aggregators and Agricultural value chain
    • Sign up and maintain relationship with value chain actors
    • Monitor regional performance, staff and consumer behavior and provide market intelligence to the team
    • Proper Branding and training of Agents/Consumers and partners
    • Comply with rules, regulations and legislation governing the financial services industry
    • Motivate, mentor and supervise regional staff for delivery of FairMoney corporate objective
    • Consistently deliver monthly OKR
    • Any other responsibility as may be assigned by the Head of Retail Banking

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline
    • A minimum of 6 - 8 years of experience in the Agency Banking business
    • Must have an android phone
    • Proven experience managing a high performance sales team
    • Ability to motivate a team of Sales Managers for performance
    • Extremely flexible, result oriented, hardworking with a strong track record of success
    • Ability to self-motivate and manage self
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different characters

    Finance Manager

    Job Summary

    • The Finance department at FairMoney is a key component in this mission to provide banking services to all consumers across emerging markets. Finance drives the reporting, the strategic analysis and the financial operations to make FairMoney's mission possible. We are currently looking for a Finance Manager.

    Key Responsibilities

    Monthly Management Reporting

    • Review monthly management report prepared by accountants and sign off
    • Ensure there are relevant schedules supporting the items on the financial statement
    • Train and motivate accountants.
    • Resolve issues raised by the financial control units and other reviewers timely and accurately

    Variance Analysis

    • Identify drivers for financial statements line items
    • Analyse the variance between actuals and budget as well as change over time
    • Recommend corrective actions for adverse variances

    Regulatory Reporting

    • Ensure CBN returns is submitted on or before the 5th day of the month
    • Ensure the NDIC report and other regulatory returns are submitted as at when due
    • Manage CBN audits

    Year End Close/Statutory Audits

    • Lead the annual statutory audit

    Requirements

    The ideal candidate will be

    • A qualified accountant (ACCA, ICAN)
    • Must be very good with IFRS
    • Have an Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
    • SQL and other data analytics skills are major advantage
    • Have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience.
    • Experience in audit and/or financial service industry is necessary
    • Must have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
    • Be an effective team player with a positive attitude
    • Must be able to work without supervision
