Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions and examining the functionality
• Checking that the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures and complies with legal requirements
• Reviewing blueprints and specifications to compare to produced goods
• Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into a quality database.
• Disassemble product parts to inspect them individually.
• Monitor production operations to ensure conformance to company specifications.
• Direct assembly adjustments to ensure operations reflect quality standards.
• Ensure products meet customer expectations based on company objectives
• Communicate the results of inspections and put forward corrective suggestions
• Training the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence
• Proposing improvements to the production process
• Monitoring the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and discard any that do not meet requirements
• Updating job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and regular training
• Keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs.
• Run load bank tests on diesel, natural gas and propane generators.

Education and qualifications

• First Degree in Engineering.
• 3-5 years experience in a related field.
• Profound knowledge of Diesel/Gas Gen Set and quality standards.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• In-depth understanding of diesel engine and/or generator technology
• Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures
• Experience working with large industrial power generation equipment.

Job Summary

• A software development lead plans, directs, and coordinates all activities related to writing software programs. He must be familiar with all the policies, procedures and technical issues related to software programming.
• The software development team lead is the “go to” man when it comes to software developers.
• He is also in charge of managing the activities of the software developing team of a company or specific project.

Responsibilities

• Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web- and desktop-based business applications.
• Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.
• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards. Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code. Package and support deployment of releases.
• Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications. Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.

Requirements
Academic Qualification:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience:

• 3 - 5 years of experience
• Experience of people management and the ability to lead and influence others.
• Proven experience in leading and managing the delivery of system/software development projects in a structured environment.
• Experience in a variety of software development approaches and methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
• Experience in the development of software using c#, .Net and SQL Server technologies.
