Role Description

• The FTTH Engineer role at Spectranet Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos. The FTTH Engineer will oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) networks. Responsibilities include implementing fiber optic network infrastructure, troubleshooting connectivity issues, monitoring performance, and ensuring optimal network functionality. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve service quality and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in FTTH network design, deployment, and troubleshooting techniques
• Technical expertise in fiber optic technology, splicing, and testing
• Strong skills in network monitoring tools and performance optimization
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards related to network infrastructure
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in telecommunications or Internet service provider industry is advantageous
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• Professional certifications in fiber optics or related areas are a plus
