REQUIREMENT

• Minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience Electrical or Mechanical Engineering in Quality Assurance and Control (QA/QC) on Project Material take Off or Construction items.
• Review of Engineering Design documents and submitted BOQ/BEME by the EPC to ensure quality is assured and control.

Professional qualification

• Membership of Nigerian Society of Engineers, COREN, PMP etc
• MBA or MSC in relevant is added advantage.\
• Proven working experience in project management
• Previous experience working on telecom infrastructure cell sites.
• Experience managing gas and Power projects
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus

• Our client in the e-mobility industry needs the services of a highly skilled and experienced Electric Vehicle Maintenance Engineer to join our team.
• The EV Maintenance Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our electric vehicle fleet.
• This position is instrumental in supporting our mission to provide reliable, sustainable, and eco-friendly e-mobility solutions. 

Responsibilities

Vehicle Maintenance: 

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electric vehicles to ensure their safe and efficient operation. 
• Conduct diagnostics, troubleshoot issues, and execute repairs on electrical and mechanical systems. 
• Monitor and maintain battery health, charging systems, and high-voltage components.

 Preventive Maintenance: 

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for the electric vehicle fleet. 
• Conduct regular inspections to identify wear and tear, fluid checks, and software updates. 
• Address maintenance needs proactively to prevent unexpected breakdowns. 

Data Analysis and Reporting: 

• Utilize vehicle diagnostic software and monitoring tools to analyze performance data. 
• Generate maintenance reports, detailing vehicle condition, repair history, and performance metrics. 
• Collaborate with the team to identify trends and areas for improvement. 

Battery Management: 

• Manage and monitor the health and performance of electric vehicle batteries. 
• Coordinate battery charging and discharging schedules, ensuring optimal use. 
• Diagnose and address battery-related issues, including replacements when necessary. 

Safety Compliance: 

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with high-voltage components and electric systems. 
• Stay up to date with industry safety standards and regulations. 

Inventory Management: 

• Maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and diagnostic equipment. 
• Coordinate with procurement to order necessary materials for maintenance and repairs. 
• Training and Development: 
• Stay informed about advancements in electric vehicle technology and maintenance best practices. 
• Provide training and guidance to junior technicians and staff members

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field is preferred. 
• 4+ years of proven experience as a senior auto electrician and electric vehicle maintenance or automotive maintenance. 
• Strong knowledge of electric vehicle systems, including batteries, motors, and charging infrastructure. 
• Proficiency in diagnostic tools and software for electric vehicle maintenance. 
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 
• Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols. 
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations. 
• Ability to work in physically demanding and outdoor environments. 
• Certification in electric vehicle maintenance, safety or related fields is a plus.
