    Project Manager

    Job Summary

    The Project Manager at Andster Engineering is responsible for leading and overseeing engineering projects from initiation through to completion. This role ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. The Project Manager provides strategic direction, coordinates cross-functional teams, and serves as a key liaison among clients, vendors, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives align with organisational goals.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Initiate, plan, and execute engineering projects in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
    • Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
    • Lead multidisciplinary teams including engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and support staff.
    • Monitor and control project performance using relevant tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Minimum of 2–5 years of proven experience in managing engineering projects, preferably in the oil & gas, construction, energy, or industrial sectors.
    • Professional certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly preferred.
    • Solid technical background with experience managing complex, multidisciplinary projects.
    • Proficiency in project management software and relevant engineering tools.
    • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

    Fire & Gas Specialist

    Job Summary

    The Fire and Gas (F&G) Specialist at Andster Engineering is responsible for ensuring the safety of personnel, equipment, and facilities by managing the design, installation, maintenance, and performance of fire detection and gas detection systems across all engineering sites and projects. The specialist plays a key role in preventing, detecting, and responding to fire and gas hazards, particularly in high-risk environments such as oil & gas facilities, power plants, and industrial operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design and develop fire and gas detection systems in compliance with NFPA, API, IEC, and other relevant standards.
    • Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of fire detection, alarm, suppression, and gas detection systems.
    • Conduct risk assessments and fire/gas hazard analyses (F&GHA) for project sites.
    • Ensure systems are regularly inspected, maintained, and functioning optimally.
    • Coordinate with HSE, electrical/instrumentation, and project teams during all project phases. Proficient in AutoCAD or other design tools.
    • Review and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and specifications. Prepare and update technical documentation, test reports, and compliance records.
    • Provide technical support during audits, incident investigations, and emergency response planning.
    • Deliver training and awareness sessions to site personnel on fire and gas safety systems.
    • Stay updated on industry best practices, standards, and technological advancements.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc or HND in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
    • Relevant Fire & Gas Safety Certifications (e.g., NFPA, ISA, CompEx, etc.) are an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 2–4 years of hands-on experience in fire and gas system engineering, preferably in oil & gas, power, or heavy industrial sectors.
    • Strong understanding of fire detection, fire codes, suppression (e.g., FM200, CO2), and gas leak detection systems.
    • Experience with HAZOP, F&G mapping, and Safety Integrity Level (SIL) assessments is a plus.

    Bid &Tender Engineer

    Job Summary

    The Bid & Tender Officer will be responsible for preparing, managing, and submitting bids and proposals to potential clients. This role involves reviewing tender documents, coordinating with internal teams, ensuring compliance with client requirements, and following up on bid status. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills, with prior experience in the engineering or oil & gas sector

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify, review, and analyse new tender opportunities and RFPs.
