    Project Management Officer

    Job Description

    • We are currently looking to fill the position of a Project Management Officer who possesses a combination of leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • The PMO will act as the central point of contact, coordinating various aspects of the project to ensure its successful completion while keeping stakeholders informed and satisfied.

    Responsibilities

    • Develops and maintains detailed project schedules, works with team to maintain / update schedules.
    • This role is responsible for supervising the project execution team.
    • Responsible for timely closure of project tasks.
    • Ensure projects are handed over to operations with detailed documentation and drawings.
    • Ability to get the respect of the senior technical teams to lead projects, coordinate teams and handle issues and problems effectively in a timely manner.
    • Manages deliverable estimation process, resource allocation and efficient utilization; negotiates resource conflicts with other project managers or resources managers as appropriate.
    • Reports accurate status and process delivery monitoring through the phases of the Solution Delivery Management process
    • Provides effective day-to-day project management of multiple IT infrastructure related projects
    • Identify project goals and delivery clearly from requirements, define all activities necessary to achieve project objectives
    • Manages the projects delivery within agreed financials/budgets
    • Conduct change throughout project inclusive of schedule, scope and efforts
    • Risks and issues management during the project execution
    • Runs regular internal projects reviews covering resourcing, project performance, displayed metrics, actions and recommendations
    • Prepare project plan, projects charter, communication plans and any other documentation as needed
    • Provides regular status reporting on project delivery performance feedback to management
    • Works closely with all stakeholders to establish good working relations
    • Participates actively in the Workforce Plan and review
    • Collaborate effectively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with cross-functional teams
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills leveraging all available resources
    • Ability to connect technology with measurable business value
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication
    • Participate in Change Advisory Board, and major Incident and Problem reviews

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or any other related fields
    • Minimum of 7 year(s) of relevant post NYSC work experience in the Telco, and Tech industry.
    • Candidate must have a very strong understanding of current infrastructure concepts with the proven ability to manage networks, servers, virtualization, storage, data centers and monitoring in a fast paced, high availability, ITIL environment.
    • Scrum/Agile Certification can be an added advantage

    Database Management Oracle SME

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a highly skilled Database Management Oracle SME to join our esteemed team. We want an individual who possesses an extensive and in-depth understanding of Oracle Database Management systems
    • The DB Expert must be a highly experienced professional with specialized knowledge and skills related to Oracle database technologies and their implementation in various contexts.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Oracle 10g/11g/12c in single and cluster mode.
    • Good experience in Replication, Log shipping, Clustering & RAC
    • Execution of backup/recovery procedures & RMAN
    • Creation and Maintenance of Database Instances & Performance fine tuning
    • Verify that Server has enough resources for acceptable performance
    • Review contention for CPU, memory, network, and disk resources
    • Review fragmentation by investigating row chaining and other areas of fragmentation
    • Capture Performance Statistics using performance monitors
    • Define Backup policy and retention policy for complete/differential/transaction backup
    • Conduct backup, restoration drills for backup verification in different scenarios.
    • Hands on experience and excellent knowledge of DB administration, License Management, Version upgrades and migrations
    • Driving initiatives to improve SLAs by analysis and Responses
    • Responsible for driving all P1, P2, incidents, change requests and OEM/ vendor management for the tower
    • Responsible for Technology refresh in respective domain.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Proven track record of at least 7 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Management.
    • Proficiency in Oracle database administration, performance tuning, and backup and recovery techniques.
    • In-depth knowledge of Oracle security features and best practices.
    • Strong understanding of SQL and PL/SQL programming.
    • Experience with database upgrades, patches, and migrations.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
    • Relevant certifications, such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), are a plus.
