    Project Engineer - Road Construction

    Job Summary

    • This role supports the execution of road construction projects by providing technical supervision, quality assurance, and engineering control across assigned site sections.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising earthworks, subbase, base course, and asphalt operations while ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
    • You will work closely with the Project Manager, Surveyor, and QA/QC teams to ensure accurate setting-out, proper execution of works, and timely reporting of site progress.

    Requirements

    • B.Eng / B.Sc in Civil Engineering
    • COREN registration (or in progress) is an advantage
    • 5+ years’ experience in road or civil infrastructure construction
    • Strong experience in earthworks, pavement construction, and asphalt works
    • Solid understanding of QA/QC processes and site inspection procedures
    • Ability to read engineering drawings and manage site execution activities.

    Equipment / Plant Supervisor

    Job Summary

    • A top tier infrastructure/construction company with operations in the SE/SS nigeria is seeing to hire an Equipment/Plant Supervisor to oversee workshop and site-based maintenance operations for heavy construction equipment.

    Responsibilities 

    • This role is responsible for supervising mechanics, electricians, and operators to ensure full execution of preventive maintenance schedules, breakdown response, and fleet deployment coordination.
    • The successful candidate will ensure equipment availability targets are achieved, maintenance standards are enforced, and all plant operations comply with approved procedures and safety requirements.

    Requirements

    • OND / HND Mechanical Engineering or related technical qualification
    • Trade Test Grade I (Mechanical Engineering) is required
    • 8+ years’ experience in plant maintenance or fleet operations
    • Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience over maintenance or operations teams
    • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and breakdown management
    • Experience in workshop and field-based equipment operations (road construction preferred).

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

    • Experience working with HR data, reporting, and Excel.
    • Good knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR compliance.
    • CIPM certification or membership is an advantage.
