Production Supervisor at Romson Oil Field Services Limited (A member of TGI Group)

Purpose of Job:

To handle and manage the Chemical Blending activities. 

Duties

• To set up the pumps and handle the charging of the raw materials into the blenders.  
• To supervise blending activities of all the chemicals
• To write the MRS and receive the raw materials in their respective quantities. 
• To ensure the transfer of appropriate chemicals into the blenders. 
• To ensure appropriate labelling of Tote tanks / IBC and Drums 
• Cleaning of Blenders/Tote tanks/ IBCs
• To liaise with Laboratory for QA/QC checks on trial RM samples, In process FP sample and Final Finished Product sample. 
• To write the batch / reaction sheet. 
• To write and keep the records of production related SOPs. 
• To keep accurate records of RM received and FP produced. 
• To maintain all the machines and pumps
• To ensure the timely inspection, certification and colour coding of Tote tanks for safety of Tote tanks.
• 100% HSE compliance and to ensure the same for employees
• To carry out all the blending operation in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• To train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel and discipline employees.
• Communicate job expectations, planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job contributions.
• Daily/weekly and monthly reporting to OFC business unit head.

Education/Knowledge, Skills, Attributes, Experience & Other Requirements

• HND Mechanical / Electrical Engineering 
• Proven track record in a Chemical handling. 
• Strong mechanical or electro mechanical skills.
• High growth environment, strong work ethic, self – starter, driven to succeed, strong presentation, management skills, high energy level, superior prospecting, creative, self-motivated, Excellent communication skills.
• 5 to 7 years relevant work experience
