    Production Supervisor

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee Production: Manage the production process, ensuring efficient and safe operation of semi-automated equipment.
    • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate production staff, providing guidance and training.
    • Quality Control: Monitor product quality, implementing corrective actions as needed.
    • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
    • Scheduling and Planning: Plan and schedule production, managing raw materials and inventory.
    • Safety and Hygiene: Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety regulations.
    • Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports on production performance, identifying areas for improvement.
    • Continuous Improvement: Implement process improvements, increasing efficiency and reducing waste.

    Requirements:

    • 2+ years of experience in a bakery or food production environment
    • Supervisory or leadership experience
    • Knowledge of semi-automated bakery equipment and processes
    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Food safety certification (is an added advantage)
    • -Minimum HND in any food related or Engineering field

    Quality Control Officer

    Key Responsibilities

    Quality Monitoring

    • Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished bread products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
    • Oversee production processes to identify and address quality issues promptly.

    Testing and Analysis

    • Perform laboratory tests on ingredients and finished products to assess consistency, texture, moisture content, and overall quality.
    • Maintain records of all tests and inspections conducted.

    Compliance and Standards

    • Ensure compliance with local food safety regulations and company policies (e.g., NAFDAC, SON).
    • Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles during production.

    Documentation and Reporting

    • Prepare quality reports, maintain quality control records, and document non-conformances.
    • Recommend corrective actions to the production team when quality issues are identified.

    Training and Awareness

    • Train production staff on quality standards, hygiene, and safety protocols.
    • Promote a culture of quality within the organization.

    Continuous Improvement

    • Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements.
    • Assist in the development of new quality standards or procedures.
