    Product Manager - Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO)

    JOB SUMMARY

    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the short and long-term strategy for allocated Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNO) products, taking into account the strategic objectives of the business, customer, and market requirements.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Define and manage the product roadmap based on company strategy, market trends, and customer feedback.
    • Conceptualize, design, and launch innovative mobile products and services.
    • Drive ARPU growth through enhanced engagement with existing subscribers
    • Drive gross adds through new propositions.
    • Design innovative incentive systems and loyalty frameworks to drive growth.
    • Manage VAS: scan for best practice solutions, select potential vendors, and manage solutions.

    • Ensure all products comply with Nigerian telecom regulations and any other relevant legal requirements.
    • Ensure regulatory approvals are obtained in a timely manner for new propositions/ promotions.

    • Conduct market research to identify new segments and emerging trends, incl. Competition.
    • Develop relevant intra-business relationships with marketing and development teams to co-develop relevant channels, solutions, and the marketing mix for the product.
    • Work closely with technical, marketing, sales, and customer service teams to align product development with business objectives.
    • Forecast potential growth and impact of new product releases.

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION(S)

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

    EXPERIENCE

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with a demonstrated record of launching successful products in the prepaid area.
    • Previous experience as a product owner

    Head, Technology - Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO)

    JOB SUMMARY

    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the overall technology stack and ensuring operational efficiency, robustness, scalability, and agility while translating business goals into clear technical requirements to design new system architectures.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Oversee the implementation of the core network from a 3rd party provider to the MNO as well as the BSS/OSS system landscape and the core network elements.
    • Manage and maintain the overall technology stack and ensure operational efficiency, robustness, scalability, and agility.
    • Translate business goals into clear technical requirements, and design new system architectures.
    • Manage the product backlog together with 3rd parties and ensure timely delivery.
    • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
    • Manage and oversee the onboarding of new MVNOs to the MVNE platform and ensure SLAs.
    • Ensure all solutions and platforms function according to established specifications and telecommunication performance standards.
    • Oversee relationships with technology vendors and partners.
    • Conduct regular tests and ensure all required certifications are in place.
    • Conduct code reviews to ensure solutions are in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
    • Oversee the documentation of software policies, procedures, data standards/ flows, and change orders for new or revised database functions.
    • Manage and provide direction and mentorship to the technology team.
    • Ensure data availability to power essential processes (wholesale sale and consumer billing etc.)

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION(S) and CERTIFICATION

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
    • Leadership certificates/Training Agile certificate/Training

    • 7 years’ experience in technology operations in the telecommunications sector (locally or internationally)

    Sales Lead - Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO)

    JOB SUMMARY

    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for building a holistic distribution network for the MVNO by forming strategic partnerships with existing agent networks and organizations with large consumer bases in order to drive subscriber growth through direct sales.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Build up a holistic distribution network for the MVNO with agents that sell sim cards, manage the onboarding process (KYC and activation), and recharges (airtime sales)
    • Manage distributors in key strategic areas to win in Top locations.
    • Form strategic partnerships with existing agent networks and organizations with large consumer bases.
    • Drive subscriber growth through direct sales
    • Untap high ARPU segments and locations to increase overall ARPU and CLTV
    • Design, manage, and evaluate incentive programs for distributors and agents that are effective and cost-efficient at the same time.
    • Manage the logistics and inventory of SIM cards.
    • Manage the logistics and inventory of KYC devices (if necessary)
    • Manage the logistics and inventory of promotional materials required by the sales network, ensuring timely distribution and availability.
    • Regularly review and analyze sales numbers and performance metrics.
    • Provide feedback and implement strategies to enhance the performance of underachieving sales representatives.
    • Gather and analyze market insights from the agent and dealer network.

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION(S)

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 5 years of sales or sales management experience, preferably in the telecommunications sector
    • Previous experience in sales and sales team supervision
    • Proven track record of managing and leading sales teams or agent and dealer networks
