    Patient Experience Lead

    Job Scope

    The Patient Experience Team Lead will provide administrative/customer relations oversight support functions for the center.

    Job Responsibilities

    Patient and Client Services/ Clinical support:

    1. Monitoring and supervision of the daily flow of activities at the Front Desk.
    2. Managing traffic at the reception area to ensure smooth and seamless operations.
    3. Supervising the porters/clinic assistants and ensuring they are at their duty posts and performing optimally.
    4. Liaising with specialist consultants to organize their consultation appointments between the front desk officers, the consultant, and the patients.
    5. Liaising with the finance department to ensure specialist consultant invoices are properly processed.
    6. Reaching out to referring doctors/hospitals via mail about their patients.
    7. Working with the front desk to quickly escalate and resolve complex patient concerns and reduce wait time.
    8. Patient follow-up/check-in after first visits.
    9. Collating, analyzing, and preparing Clinical Services data for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
    10. Ensure the orderliness of patients at the entrance and resumption areas of the center.
    11. Working with the Front desk team, compile weekly updates of operations at the center for management meetings.
    12. Initiating MISP applications and managing the application process from start to finish (beginning of patient’s treatment)

    General Office Administration:

    1. Supervision of the administration of the clinic including Housekeeping and facility maintenance and management.
    2. Support the Chief Clinical Coordinator in the documentation of all incidences at the center and other administrative duties to be assigned.
    3. Working closely with the maintenance team, ensuring timely repairs and servicing of all equipment

    Job Requirements

    1. A Medical or a Nursing Degree is preferred
    2. 3-5 years relevant experience at similar job functions in a Hospital/Clinical setting.
    3. Have a good knowledge of office operations and general operations.
    4. Must be Computer literate (Ms. Office tools),
    5. Must have Excellent communication skills (Oral and written).
    6. Competency in the use of Customer-service software is desirable.

    In addition to the above, the suitable candidate must possess:

    1. Drive, ambition, be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and can carry the responsibility of all financial operations and strategy.
    2. Highly numerical and analytical.
    3. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
    4. Ability to work with little or no supervision.
    5. Ability to multi-task.
    6. Demonstrate professionalism towards sensitive and confidential information.
    7. Communication channels - very strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills (both internally, and to vendors and customers).

    Radiotherapist

    JOB

    • Assist the Radiation Oncologists and Physicists to develop treatment plans for cancer patients.
    • Prepare patients for CT simulation.
    • Carry out CT simulation and send acquired images for contouring.
    • Inspect radiation equipment and devices to ensure they are operational and function effectively.
    • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines procedures and standards to prevent undue exposure of staff and patients to radiation.
    • Keep records of treatment information such as radiation dosage, equipment settings and patient’s response to radiotherapy.
    • Monitor patients to check for the side effects of their treatments and make appropriate recommendations or changes to their treatment.
    • Provide an offline review of patents by supervision and make necessary adjustments where necessary.
    • Dispense radiation dose during brachytherapy treatment.

    JOB REQUIREMENT

    • A minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Radiography with a PGD in Radiotherapy.
    • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in clinical practice.
    • Must be licensed by the Radiographer registration board of Nigeria (RRBN).
    • A Radiographer with Diagnostic experience and interest in Radiation Therapy.
    • Previous exposure to the international atomic energy agency (IAEA fellowship, seminars and workshop.
    • Hands-on knowledge and experience in Brachytherapy will be an added advantage.
    • Previous attendance in ARN conferences or any RRBN continuous development programme is an added advantage.
    • S/he must be able to communicate (read and write) in the English language. The ability to speak another local language will be an added benefit to the role and unit.
    • An excellent team player with good time management skills.
