    Job Description

    • Our Client urgently requires the services of a Pastry Chef with SSCE, OND, in the relevant field.
    • The ideal candidate must be an experienced person that is able to prepare African and Continental dishes.
    • He/She should be able to promote and sell a range of the Hotel services, including the meals, Mano Bread, and Mano Plate dining experiences

    The Job functionalities include:

    • Operate and manage the pastry section of a kitchen,
    • Prepare a variety of baked goods
    • Prepare Pizza, Milkshakes, and Shawarma and more)
    • Decorate and present pastries and baked goods in a tasteful and beautiful way
    • Monitor and order ingredients, supplies and equipment
    • Meet with customers to discuss custom-made desserts or baked goods for special occasions

    • OOur client currently desires the services of experienced Electrical Field Sales, service and Installation Engineer that is self driven and result oriented to oversee the operations in the Victoria Island Office in Lagos.

    Store and Inventory Officer

    Functional Responsibilities
    The Job responsibilities for this position are as follows:

    • Receive and forward all goods and deliveries in and out of the Company to the correct point of contact/storage area.
    • Able to follow standards for issuing and receiving stock within the store’s area of operation.
    • Monitor and take inventory regularly to compile orders based on par levels or needs.
    • Maintain clear and organized records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly.
    • Responsible for the day-to-day check on the storage facilities
    • Responsible for verifying all goods arrived as per the agreed purchase, delivery note, and agreed quantity had been received.
    • Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
    • Ensure cleanliness of all areas, keeping storage areas clean & tidy and in strict compliance with hygiene regulations.
    • Ensure all store requisitions are signed by concerned Department Heads (HODs) and MD or other designates
    • Ensure the quantity requested and the quantity issued always matches.
    • Ensure the store requisition form is signed by the person collecting the goods and entered into the Inventory/Materials Management System.
    • Post all invoices using accurately.
    • Conduct inventory audits to determine inventory levels and needs.
    • Conduct physical stock audits regularly as advised by the Accountant or MD and the physical count is to be tallied with the inventory count from the MMS – Material Management System.
    • Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
    • Extend all requisitions daily and update the inventory management software/system.
    • Troubleshoot any vendor delivery issues and oversee/follow up on the return process.
    • Follow up on documentation of after-hours issues ensuring it is by established internal controls and procedures.
    • Ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional.
    • Speak with others using clear and professional language.
    • Keep accurate recordings of all incoming and outgoing goods.
    • Identify and report any slow-moving items to avoid over-purchasing.
    • Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports and logs.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by the management or supervisors.
    • He/she makes sure to get rid of the surplus or obsolete stock.
    • Maintain record of receipts as well as issuance of items that are going out of the warehouse so as to ensure accuracy and completeness
    • Be involved in the reconciliation of physical stock with the stock in the system
    • Oversee that the arrangement of goods has been done in an orderly system within the stock location system so that the stock can be stored easily and retrieved whenever there is a requirement. Similarly, he/she ensures that the stocks stay physically protected in the warehouses
    • Any other assignment from the management

    Requirements

    • The ideal candidate must possess HND or Bsc in any relevant field and must have Stock and Inventory management experience for at least 5 years.
    • Candidates who have good knowledge of statistics or mathematics and a good computer software applications would be most preferred.
