Job Description

• Receiving, storing, and issuing spare replacement parts, equipment, and expendable items used in repair or maintenance shop
• Preparing a picking list to determine the type and quantity of parts ordered by customers
• Overseeing the activities of making sure that customers are satisfied with the various parts ordered
• candidate should be conversant with ERP software
• Helps in arranging parts on shelves when needed
• Helps in identifying parts needed by customers
• Lifting parts from shelves when needed
• Helps the warehouse manager in dealing with parts in the warehouse
• Advising customers on various types of parts
• Making sure that there is prompt delivery of parts to customers
• Taking inventory of parts and equipment as well as maintaining inventory records.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND qualification with 2 - 5 years work experience.

Responsibilities

• Materials Pickups and Deliveries.
• Excellent Time Management Skills and the ability to prioritize workloads to meet standards.
• General warehouse duties.
• Data Entry and Paperwork
• Receiving goods and checking against orders.
• Dispatching and receiving of goods.
• Some lifting is required.
• Picking and packing orders.
• moving heavy pallets and goods using a forklift.
• Parts Receivals and dispatch.
• Stocking shelves.
• Flexibility for early starts/late finishes is required.

Requirements

• Certificate III in Warehouse preferred, but not essential;
• Ability to manage complexity at varying levels and adapt quickly to changes in job priorities;
• Computer literate with the familiarity of use with recognized inventory management programs or similar MS Office software applications;
• Experience within a similar position with a good knowledge of goods movement and inventory practices;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Forklift License, Essential;
• Ability to work without supervision and within a team environment;
• Possess computer skills;
• Experienced as a store person is essential;
• Must have a current forklift license;
• Possess strong customer service skills;
• An excellent communicator with and good command of English (both verbal and written);
• Accurate data entry skills;
• Be well-organized and comfortable with deadlines;
• General warehouse duties.
