    Operations Specialist

    What will you do

    • Operations Specialist supports planning, coordinating, and executing internal and external events while supporting and improving day-to-day business operations, ensuring efficiency, seamless execution, and alignment with organizational objectives. 
    • This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with strong project management, operational coordination, and event execution skills.

    Job Duties

    • Coordinate office operations and administrative activities to support efficient day-to-day business operations.
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate events, conferences, workshops, town halls, product launches, team-building activities, and other company-sponsored events.
    • Manage the end-to-end event lifecycle, including planning, budgeting, execution, and post-event evaluation.
    • Provide administrative support, including preparing reports, presentations, and other business documentation as required.
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand event objectives and ensure successful delivery.
    • Manage office supplies, equipment, and procurement activities, always ensuring adequate inventory levels.
    • Research, identify, and secure suitable venues based on event requirements and budget.
    • Coordinate office activities, meetings, and travel arrangements while ensuring compliance with company policies.
    • Coordinate event logistics, including catering, transportation, accommodation, registration, audiovisual equipment, branding, and event materials.
    • Support projects by tracking timelines, milestones, deliverables, and operational requirements.
    • Develop detailed event timelines, project plans, and event schedules.
    • Coordinate office repairs, maintenance activities, and workspace improvements as needed.
    • Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, venues, and service providers to ensure quality service delivery.
    • Obtain competitive quotations, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance for both operational and event-related needs.
    • Monitor event budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
    • Monitor office expenditures, support budget planning activities, and manage procurement processes.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Event Management, Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, events management, project coordination, administrative support, or a related role.
    • Proven experience planning and managing corporate events, conferences, meetings, and stakeholder engagements.
    • Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Experience managing vendors, service providers, contracts, and supplier relationships.
    • Knowledge of budgeting, expense tracking, procurement processes, and resource management.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and related business or event management tools.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to prioritize competing demands, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain a high standard of execution.

    Director of Finance

    Job Description

    • The Director of Finance is a senior executive responsible for developing and executing the financial strategy, governance frameworks, capital allocation processes, financial controls, and performance management systems that support Cavista Holdings and its portfolio companies.
    • This role serves as a trusted strategic partner to executive leadership, working closely with the CEO and Chief Finance Officer (CFO), business leaders, and portfolio company executives to drive financial performance, optimize capital deployment, strengthen governance, and support enterprise growth initiatives.
    • The ideal candidate combines exceptional financial leadership, strategic thinking, investment acumen, commercial judgment, and operational excellence with a proven ability to lead complex finance functions across diversified business environments.
    • The Director of Finance will play a critical role in building scalable financial systems, enhancing business performance, supporting investment decisions, ensuring effective risk management, and creating the financial infrastructure necessary for sustainable growth across the portfolio.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute the Group's financial strategy in alignment with Cavista Holdings' long-term business objectives and growth agenda.
    • Serve as a strategic financial advisor to the Executive Leadership Team, Board of Directors, and portfolio company leadership teams.
    • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning processes across the Group.
    • Establish and maintain world-class financial governance, accounting policies, reporting standards, and internal control frameworks.
    • Drive enterprise financial performance by developing robust performance management systems, Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) frameworks, and business intelligence reporting.
    • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support investment decisions, growth initiatives, and capital allocation priorities.
    • Oversee consolidated financial reporting across the Group and ensure accuracy, transparency, and timeliness of financial information.
    • Lead treasury management, cash flow optimisation, liquidity planning, and working capital management initiatives.
    • Develop and implement capital management strategies that optimize shareholder value and support business expansion.
    • Partner with portfolio company executives to improve financial performance, profitability, operational efficiency, and value creation.
    • Lead financial due diligence, valuation analysis, transaction support, and financial assessments for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments.
    • Support post-acquisition integration efforts by establishing financial controls, reporting structures, and performance measurement frameworks.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, regulatory obligations, and corporate governance requirements.
    • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, financial institutions, investors, and regulatory stakeholders.
    • Develop and implement financial controls that safeguard company assets and support effective risk management.
    • Drive financial transformation initiatives through process improvement, automation, digital finance solutions, and technology enablement.
    • Provide financial modeling, scenario analysis, and strategic planning support for new business opportunities and expansion initiatives.
    • Establish portfolio-wide financial reporting standards and performance monitoring mechanisms.
    • Lead tax planning and optimization strategies while ensuring full regulatory compliance.
    • Build and develop a high-performing finance organization focused on accountability, business partnership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    • Foster a culture of financial discipline, ownership, transparency, and value creation across the Group.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
    • Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field preferred.
    • Professional accounting qualification required, such as: ACA, ACCA, CPA, ICAN or equivalent
    • Executive education in corporate finance, investments, strategy, or private equity is an advantage.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 20 years of progressive finance leadership experience.
    • At least 8 years in a senior finance leadership role such as Director of Finance, Group Finance Director, Head of Finance, CFO, or equivalent.
    • Experience within a holdings company, investment firm, private equity-backed environment, multinational organization, or diversified business group preferred.
    • Demonstrated success leading finance functions across multiple business units or portfolio companies.
    • Strong experience in financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, treasury management, and capital allocation.
    • Proven track record supporting executive leadership with strategic financial decision-making.
    • Experience leading mergers, acquisitions, investment analysis, valuation, and transaction support activities.
    • Strong understanding of corporate finance, governance, financial controls, and enterprise risk management.
    • Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships including Boards, investors, lenders, auditors, and regulators.
    • Exposure to multi-industries and geographically distributed operations is highly desirable.
