Operations Manager at WorQulture

Job Description

• We are seeking a driven, detailed and creative Operations Manager who is a go-getter. The ideal candidate will be both passionate and fluent in the fashion and retail world, with experience and existing relationships in this field. Illustration and sketching know-how is a big plus but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day activity of the business without supervision.
• Monitor operational expenses and device budgeting systems
• Drive business development and expansion strategies to strengthen the company's market position.
• Supervise and Drive team adherence to development and production timelines.
• Assist the Production Manager in creating designs and take measurements of customers.
• Supervise quality assurance (Quality control).
• Research fashion trends and be active on social media
• Oversee production of ready-to-wear and bespoke clothing from point A to Z.
• Stay abreast of various contemporary styles.
• Oversee the maintenance of Store Facility.
• Perform all other duties as directed by the CEO.
• Prepare the payroll and support the client with the payment of staff salary
• Keep track of Retail Sales associates resumption at work

Inventory:

• Daily ensure records of items in store are accurate, inventory is done and maintained.
• Oversee the reorder of low stock items.
• Daily assist the Retail Sales Associates in counting stock items.
• Daily manage and relate with stockists on all items where necessary.
• Maintain a weekly and quarterly records of inventory
• Maintain and implement purchase plans with stockists.

Logistics:

• Daily assign deliveries to the logistics team
• Daily ensure that all orders are delivered on a timely basis

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a University Graduate qualification in any field.
• At least 3 years practical experience in a Fashion Company in a similar role
• Demonstrated leadership and project management capability
• The individual must be detailed, process driven, productive and proactive.
• Must look presentable at all times.
• Punctuality and presentation are key.
• Excellent Communication and Customer Relationship skills.
• Conversant with Excel, Microsoft Office.
