    Operations Manager

    Role Summary:

    • The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all outlet operations, ensuring smooth daily running, consistent service quality, operational efficiency, and achievement of sales and performance targets across all Uncle Stan’s Foods locations. This role is execution-heavy and results-driven.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Outlet Operations Oversight

    • Supervise day-to-day operations of all outlets to ensure uninterrupted service.
    • Ensure outlets open and close on time, fully staffed and operational.
    • Conduct regular outlet inspections to enforce SOPs and brand standards.
    • Resolve operational issues promptly to avoid service disruption or revenue loss.

    Performance & KPI Management

    • Set, monitor, and enforce KPIs for outlet managers and supervisors.
    • Track daily sales, wastage, service speed, customer complaints, and stock usage.
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational performance reports for MD.

    Staff Supervision & Discipline

    • Supervise outlet managers and ensure proper staff deployment.
    • Enforce discipline, attendance, grooming, and conduct standards.
    • Recommend rewards, sanctions, or terminations based on performance.
    • Identify training gaps and coordinate operational training with HR.

    Stock & Supply Chain Coordination

    • Work closely with Supply Chain to ensure product availability across outlets.
    • Prevent stockouts, pilferage, and excessive wastage.
    • Validate daily stock reports and escalate discrepancies immediately.

    Quality Control & Customer Experience

    • Ensure food quality, portion control, hygiene, and presentation are consistent.
    • Monitor customer feedback and complaints; implement corrective actions.
    • Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.

    Cost Control & Efficiency

    • Monitor operational costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
    • Reduce wastage, inefficiencies, and downtime across outlets.
    • Ensure efficient use of manpower, utilities, and resources.

    Process Improvement & Expansion Support

    • Improve operational processes for speed, quality, and scalability.
    • Support new outlet openings, launches, and operational setups.
    • Ensure new outlets meet Uncle Stan’s Foods operational standards from day one.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Hospitality, or related field.
    • Minimum 5–8 years experience in QSR, retail, or multi-outlet food operations.
    • Proven experience managing multiple outlets simultaneously.
    • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent reporting, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and handle crisis situations.
    • Strong understanding of SOPs, food operations, and people management.

    Human Resources Manager

    Job Summary

    • The Human Resources Manager is responsible for building, managing, and enforcing effective people systems across the organization. This role goes beyond hiring, covering performance management, discipline, compliance, staff development, and culture. The HR Manager ensures the company has the right people, in the right roles, behaving in line with company values and operational standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    Recruitment & Onboarding

    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
    • Oversee end-to-end hiring processes, including job postings, interviews, selection, and background/guarantor checks.
    • Ensure new employees undergo structured onboarding and orientation programs.
    • Maintain a talent pipeline for critical positions.

    Employee Relations & Engagement

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.
    • Promote a positive workplace culture across all outlets.
    • Organise staff welfare activities, recognition programs, and engagement initiatives to improve morale.
    • Address misconduct and conflicts promptly while ensuring fair and consistent disciplinary action.

     Policy Development & Compliance

    Performance Management

    • Coordinate the company’s performance appraisal process.
    • Collaborate with department heads to set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all roles.
    • Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing guidance for improvement.

     Training & Development

    • Conduct training needs analysis for all departments.
    • Organise periodic training sessions for customer service, food safety, leadership, and compliance.
    • Develop career development plans for high-potential employees.

    HR Administration

    • Maintain accurate HR records, personnel files, and HRIS data.
    • Manage staff attendance, leave requests, and absenteeism reports.
    • Oversee payroll inputs and staff benefits administration.
    • Ensure proper documentation of all HR actions and decisions.

    Workforce Planning & Retention

    • Forecast staffing needs for new and existing outlets.
    • Develop retention strategies to reduce staff turnover.
    • Identify and groom internal talent for leadership roles.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Staff turnover rate maintained within company targets.
    • Recruitment cycle time (vacancy to hire) kept within agreed limits.
    • 100% compliance with company policies and labour regulations.
    • Timely completion of performance appraisals.
    • Improved employee engagement scores.
    • Reduction in disciplinary cases due to proactive staff management.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
    • Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, or equivalent) is an advantage.
    • Minimum of 5 years HR management experience, preferably in the QSR, retail, or hospitality sector.
    • Strong understanding of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
    • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Management Accountant

    • We are seeking a highly skilled and commercially driven Management Accountant to own and drive financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic decision-making across our operations. The ideal candidate is a chartered accountant with strong experience in QSR, retail, or FMCG environments, who can translate financial data into clear, actionable insights that directly improve profitability, cost efficiency, and business performance.
    • This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can take full ownership of financial reporting, cost control, and operational financial management.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Financial Performance Management Own end-to-end financial reporting across all outlets (daily, weekly, monthly).Prepare and analyze P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements. Track and drive key performance metrics (food cost %, gross margins, outlet profitability).Provide clear, data-driven insights to management for decision-making.
    • Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning: Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Monitor performance against budget and provide variance analysis with actionable recommendations .Drive financial planning processes aligned with business objectives.
    • Cost Control & Profitability Optimization: Take ownership of cost monitoring across food, labor, and overheads. Identify inefficiencies and implement cost-control measures across operations. Partner with procurement and operations teams to drive sustainable cost savings.
    • Strategic & Commercial Finance: Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions and business growth. Conduct feasibility analysis for new outlets, products, or expansion initiatives. Support revenue growth strategies through financial analysis and recommendations.
    • Internal Controls & Compliance: Ensure strong financial controls and adherence to company policies. Maintain compliance with tax, regulatory, and statutory requirements. Work closely with audit teams to strengthen internal control systems.
    • Operational Finance Business Partnering: Work closely with outlet managers and operational teams to drive financial performance. Provide guidance on cost management, budgeting, and financial accountability. Ensure financial discipline across all operational units.
    • Systems & Data Management: Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).Improve financial reporting systems and data tracking processes. Leverage data to enhance visibility and decision-making across the business.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN, ACCA, ACA).
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably in QSR, Retail, or FMCG.
    • Strong proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
    • Proven experience in cost control, financial analysis, and performance management.
    • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
