Job Summary

The IT Assistant supports daily operations of the hotel’s IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth functionality of systems, hardware, software, and networks across all departments. This role assists in troubleshooting issues, maintaining data integrity, and supporting technology needs to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, laptops, printers, and other hardware across the hotel
• Provide on-site technical support to staff in resolving software and hardware issues promptly
• Monitor and maintain the hotel’s internet connectivity and LAN/WAN infrastructure
• Assist in managing hotel applications (PMS, POS, inventory systems, guest Wi-Fi portals, CCTV integrations)
• Perform regular backups and support recovery procedures as directed
• Maintain user access control, including account creation and password management
• Log and track IT support requests and ensure timely resolution through ticketing system
• Update anti-virus, firewall, and security patches to safeguard the hotel network
• Collaborate with vendors for repairs, upgrades, and procurement of IT equipment
• Support audiovisual setups for meetings, conferences, and guest events
• Ensure adherence to IT security policies and protocols throughout the property
• Assist during IT audits and in preparing compliance reports

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 1–3 years’ experience in IT support, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, hotel PMS/POS systems, networking fundamentals, and office productivity software
• Familiarity with hospitality tech systems (Opera, Micros, Cloudbeds, etc.) is advantageous

Job Summary

The Plumber is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures across the hotel facility. This role ensures all water-related infrastructure—such as piping, drainage, and sanitary systems—is functioning optimally, with minimal disruption to guests or operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair plumbing faults across guest rooms, kitchens, staff quarters, and public areas
• Install and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, water heaters, pumps, and other plumbing fixtures
• Respond promptly to maintenance service requests and emergencies involving leaks, blockages, or water supply issues
• Monitor water pressure, filtration systems, and drainage flows to meet operational standards
• Perform routine preventive maintenance of hotel plumbing infrastructure to avoid breakdowns
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation codes, and building standards
• Coordinate with other maintenance staff and departments to resolve multi-disciplinary technical issues
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and system modifications
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors for procurement or specialized plumbing works
• Assist during renovation projects, new installations, or upgrades involving plumbing integration

Qualifications & Experience

• Trade Certification or Diploma in Plumbing or Building Services Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a plumber, preferably within a hotel or commercial facility
• Knowledge of national plumbing standards, water pressure systems, and basic electrical interfacing
• Experience with water heating systems, septic tanks, and greywater recycling is an advantage
