We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team and support our property and construction-related operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for cost planning, budgeting, procurement, contract administration, valuation, and financial control across property development, renovation, and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), budgets, and project cost plans.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and measurement of construction works.
- Prepare and review tender documents and contractor quotations.
- Evaluate bids and provide recommendations on contractor selection.
- Monitor project expenditure against approved budgets.
- Prepare interim valuations, payment certificates, and final accounts.
- Review variations, claims, and additional works and assess their financial implications.
- Conduct market research on construction materials, labour, and service costs.

Requirements

- Strong knowledge of construction measurement, costing, BOQ preparation, and contract administration.
- Experience working with contractors and construction suppliers.
- Strong understanding of construction materials, labour costs, and market pricing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant quantity surveying software.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify cost discrepancies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects or assignments simultaneously.
- Professional certification/membership such as QSRBN or NIQS will be an advantage.
