    Officer - Engineering Technician (Electromechanical)

    OBJECTIVE

    • Ensuring effective maintenance of all electrical and mechanical components.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure an effective maintenance of all electrical and mechanical components of the factory machines.
    • Generate a daily report on all electrical and mechanical faults reported.
    • Carry out periodic & preventive maintenance on all electrical and mechanical panels and machines.
    • Ensure prompt attention to fault and as well as quick detection and correction of technical faults.
    • Repair and maintain all coding machines for flexibles and cartons.
    • Carry out repairs on all electronic and mechanical scales.
    • Ensure proper maintenance culture, safety of machineries and personnel, as well as good housekeeping.
    • Ensure that panels, tools & parts are well kept & managed at all times.
    • Ensure that the proper and standard operational procedures are strictly adhered to.
    • Ensure the proper functioning of machines, its accessories and other factory equipment with minimum downtime.
    • Installation of new machines and equipment.
    • Training of production operatives.
    • Carries out any assigned food safety jobs by the head of department.
    • Any other jobs assigned by Supervisor.

    EDUCATION

    • Minimum of Trade Test 2 or 3 or an OND in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Workshop craft or Mechatronics HND is an added advantage

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity

    Group HR Business Partner

    Overview

    • The incumbent will implement, execute and coordinate the tactical activities, of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring compliance and implementation of the organization’s goals and talent strategy across the Group. 

    Responsibilities

    • Supports execution of the employee strategy for the Group through engagement with HR heads to drive milestones and timelines on all HR deliverables.
    • Plans, develops and implements policies, processes and initiatives to support the Group’s human resource compliance and strategy needs.
    • Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including development of reports and metrics.
    • Utilizes the LinkedIn tool and HR networks to attract and recruit the best candidates across the Group as required.
    • Responsible for the implementation of training programs within the Group and support of OpCOs in implementation of Training academies and departmental skills training hubs.
    • Supports the Group in participation in salary surveys where necessary.
    • Ensures the development and administration of a recognition policy for the Group.
    • Follows up with execution on all talent reviews and succession planning for managerial levels and below working with HR heads across the Group.
    • Coordinates the implementation of employee experience activities for the Group.
    • Execution of contract register, weekly legal tracker, litigation tracker, debt recovery tracker, Land / property tracker on all countries through follow up and assistance. Follow up with countries for scanned documents and storage in Teams folder.
    • Execution of AGM and board Meeting templates and documents. Follow up on all fillings as well as ensure all legal documents are up to date across countries.
    • Execution of weekly regulatory tracker, permits register by regulatory bodies, tracking expiration of certificates, BOM trackers and competitor BOM review.

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or related discipline required. 
    • At least five (5) years of professional experience across all HR disciplines, including recruitment, compensation & benefits, employee relations, training and development, workers compensation and conflict resolution.
    • Experience working with a diverse workforce.

    Officer – Maintenance Planning and Monitoring

    Objectives

    • To ensure there is full compliance with rules and procedures for technical operations in achieving cost effective targets

    Responsibilities

    • To ensure a reliable maintenance plan is made available for all equipment at the right time
    • Makes safety procedures, including lock out/ tag out procedures available to employees
    • To ensure the implementation of all maintenance activities across the factories, and ensure proper documentation of all activities in their respective logbook
    • Identify specific safety issues about the technical activities and equipment
    • Carry out audit checks after maintenance job is done to confirm quality of execution according to standards.
    • To make recommendations on continuous improvement in technical operations
    • To compile reliable technical data for engineering report analysis
    • Carry out any assigned Food Safety jobs by the head of department
    • Responsible for equipment and repair part data entry and report management
    • Ensures that all work orders and management log items are closed when work is finished
    • Make operating and maintenance manuals available, and update maintenance checklist for improvement when required.

    Qualifications

    • HND/ B.Sc in any engineering disciplines

    Experience

    • 3 years relevant work experience in a standard manufacturing environment
