    Mission ICT Expert

    Key responsibilities:

    • Ensure that a backup policy validated by the mission and by the ICT referents at HQ is disseminated and applied throughout the mission;
    • Configure the backups on the workstations and ensure that they are carried out in compliance with the standards and the backup policy;
    • Ensure the maintenance of computers and check daily / monthly that preventive and corrective maintenance tasks have been carried out;
    • Install and maintain the local networks of the mission according to the standards (kitlog);
    • Check that network equipment is working properly;
    • Analyze the use of the network infrastructure (Firewall, NAS) and propose technical solutions to improve the situation (security, performance, etc.);
    • Ensure the functioning and monitoring of the means of communication on the mission;
    • Ensure the follow-up of local telecommunications providers (Internet, fixed and mobile telephony, etc.) and the rationalization of associated costs;
    • Train users in the proper use of ICT resources, the ICT basics and compliance with security rules upon arrival and at regular intervals;
    • Ensure the capitalization of data and procedures related to the use of computer and network resources and ensure their dissemination;
    • Provide software support to users for information and email sharing;
    • Report the problems encountered and the solutions provided to the manager and team members;
    • Ensure the identification of training needs, the development of training materials and their organization;
    • Create indicators to monitor user satisfaction;
    • Treat all users in a respectful and fair manner, in accordance with ACF's code of conduct and policies (gender, safeguarding, etc.);
    • Produce an ICT activity report on a monthly basis and send it to its managers (equipment fleet indicators, telecom indicators, user satisfaction indicators);
    • Propose the implementation of ICT resources improving the work efficiency of users in accordance with the standards;
    • Propose, validate and ensure the implementation of an ICT strategy;
    • Develop and monitor the network with partners (NGOs, donors, etc.) at the technical and operational level.

    Position Requirements:

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related fields;
    • Professional certificate(s) in ICT sector;
    • Masters in IT related field is an added advantage;
    • Minimum of 3 years work experience required;
    • Work experience in team management;
    • Significant experience working in similar position;
    • Capacity to conduct trainings;
    • Strong verbal, written and communication skills ; approachable, diplomatic, able to maintain confidentiality ; able to work effectively in diverse, cross-cultural teams in a complex, multi-site work environment;
    • Excellent attention to detail, highly organized, rigorous, self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility, ability to work independently;
    • Capacity for analysis, synthesis and reporting of large amounts of information.

    Supply Specialist - Abuja

    Key responsibilities:

    • Anticipate programme needs and communicate with suppliers to ensure availability of required products and services;
    • Monitor the implementation of the base supply strategy through a detailed action plan;
    • Optimize supply planning according to the needs communicated by the bases and the Logistics HoD;
    • Ensure that all information is correctly filled in and processed according to the ACF Kit Log standards;
    • Keep the different departments informed about the processing of their orders at coordination level;
    • Ensure that all supply chain documents are archived according to the Kit Log procedures;
    • Monitor stock management (storage conditions, reports, expiry dates) and stock movements related to supplies and deliveries to the field;
    • Participate in investigations in the event of a fraud alert or non-compliance with ACF policies by a supplier and propose corrective measures;
    • Support the supply team in processing requests by prioritizing them according to needs and deadlines;
    • Be the LINK focal point with Capital;
    • Inform the Capital about concerns related to the information system;
    • Support the Supply Chain Manager provide adequate training to all new users (applicants, logistics users, etc.);
    • Support users when they encounter unusual situations with the software on how to solve them;
    • Ensure that all supply documentation (procurement records, storage, transport) is scanned and archived electronically on LINK and in hard copy in the archive room;
    • Complete and maintain the contract follow up in coordination with the Supply Chain Manager.

    Position Requirements:

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Logistics Management or other relevant field of study;
    • Minimum of 3 years’ extensive experience in supply chain management/coordination, preferably in humanitarian or development work;
    • Certification in CIPS, Supply or Logistics desirable;
    • High level of Integrity and transparency;
    • Excellent attention to detail, highly organized, rigorous, self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility, ability to work independently;
    • Expert user of Microsoft Officer Suite 2016 (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook). Ability to manage and follow work plans;
    • Strong verbal, written and communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality;
    • Ability to work effectively in diverse, cross-cultural teams in a complex, multi-site work environment;
    • Fluent in English;
    • Good interpersonal skills - approachable, diplomatic, able to negotiate, influence, give and receive effective feedback, be a team player;
    • Ability to manage stress effectively and juggle competing priorities;
    • Experience in supervisory position asset;
    • Previous experience working for NGOs an asset, particularly international and/or health related NGOs;
    • Fluency in one or more national or regional languages and asset;
    • ICT knowledge will be an added advantage.
