    Mechanical Fitter

    Responsibilities

    • Perform routine maintenance of pumps, motors, valves, pipelines, filters, blowers, and other mechanical equipment.
    • Conduct preventive maintenance as per schedules.
    • Lubricate moving parts and replace worn components.
    • Identify mechanical faults such as leaks, vibrations, unusual noise, and overheating.
    • Repair or replace defective parts including bearings, seals, gaskets, couplings, and belts.
    • Assist in minimizing plant downtime through quick response to breakdowns.
    • Install new mechanical equipment and components as required.
    • Assist in alignment of pumps and motors.
    • Carry out assembly and dismantling of plant equipment.
    • Inspect pipelines, valves, tanks, and structures for wear, corrosion, and damage.
    • Monitor equipment condition and report abnormalities to supervisors.
    • Follow plant HSE policies and procedures.
    • Use appropriate PPE during maintenance activities.
    • Ensure safe use of tools and equipment.
    • Follow permit-to-work systems for maintenance tasks.
    • Record maintenance work, repairs, and inspections.
    • Assist in preparing maintenance logs and reports.
    • Support preventive maintenance documentation.
    • Maintain cleanliness of mechanical workshop and plant areas.
    • Properly store tools and materials after use.
    • Work closely with electrical, instrumentation, and operations teams.
    • Support major shutdowns and emergency repairs.

    Qualification

    • Technical Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Fitter trade.

    Experience:

    • 8–10 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance in industrial plants, preferably water treatment or utilities.

    Selection Criteria:

    • Expert knowledge in Bearing replacement and alignment, skilled in pumps, valves, motors & gearboxes maintenance.
    • Should have proven ability and experience in Pipe fitting and flange works.
    • Should possess required Basic knowledge of Preventive & breakdown maintenance.
    • Should have proven ability and Familiarity with hand and power tools.
    • Should have good basic understanding and awareness of industrial safety & permit systems.

    Planning Engineer

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and maintain detailed project schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
    • Prepare baseline schedules and track project progress against approved timelines.
    • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment with project plans.
    • Monitor project performance, identify delays, and recommend corrective actions.
    • Prepare and update progress reports, dashboards, and S-curves for management review.
    • Conduct critical path analysis and highlight key project risks and constraints.
    • Support project cost control by integrating schedule and resource planning.
    • Interface with EPC contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure schedule adherence.
    • Participate in project review meetings and provide planning insights and updates.
    • Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of planning records throughout the project lifecycle.

    Qualification

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related discipline).

    Experience:

    • 12 to 15 years experience in project planning and scheduling within chemical, petrochemical, or oil & gas projects.
    • Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 or similar planning software is required.
    • Experience in EPC project environments is preferred.
    • Exposure to construction and commissioning planning is an added advant

    Certifications

    • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is an advantage.
    • Primavera P6 certification is an added advantage.
    • Membership in a professional body (e.g., COREN, NSE) is desirable.

    Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling techniques.
    • Proficiency in planning tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
    • Understanding of chemical plant processes and project execution phases.
    • Ability to develop WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) and project timelines.
    • Knowledge of resource planning and cost tracking.
    • Familiarity with EPC project execution and coordination.
    • Ability to analyze project data and generate reports.
    • Good understanding of risk management and mitigation planning.
