Provide, communicate, and implement strategy to address competition, changes in the market, and improvements in technology and marketing tools.
Structure and perform analysis and conduct primary research to uncover insights, identify and validate value
creation opportunities for Sahara.
Provide analytic and research support for key strategy projects, market trend, customer, channel and competitive assessments.
Utilize customer information from generated data and customer research to understand trends and opportunities.
Leverage on market/customer research, trends, and competitor analysis to drive revenue, increase yield, improve market share, and enhance customer loyalty.
Support preparation of senior management and board level communication.
Undertake market analysis, modeling, portfolio metric reporting, and operational support related to Sahara’s business objective.
Responsible for conducting financial planning and analysis of datasets to assess the operational, and financial
performance of existing assets and integrated programs.
Provide operational insights to achieve key performance indicators
Summarize insights from analysis and clearly communicate analytical findings to be presented to the management.
Identify, communicate, and execute all new opportunities related to the Sahara’s business functions
Requirements
A University degree (preferably in a management science course).
Minimum of 9 years cognate working experience (Post NYSC) in a similar role.
Strong quantitative and analytic skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent numeracy skills
Advance modelling skills.
Ability to synthesize quantitative work and present ideas
Significant experience of qualitative and quantitative analysis of data and research findings across a range of disciplines.
Using compression engines to direct fluid into machines that separate oil and natural gas.
Performing maintenance and assembly duties for pipes, machinery, vehicles, gauges, and oil meters, to ensure that they are working properly.
Shutting down wells in adherence to production schedules.
Inspecting equipment to ensure that it is working properly and taking measures to prevent accidents.
Operating equipment used in oil and gas production, such as pumps, compressors, engines, and heaters.
Responding to emergency situations such as fires, explosions, mechanical breakdowns, and spills.
Reviewing test results from samples of oil, gas, or water taken from wells to determine chemical composition, density, acidity, salinity, and other factors that may affect the value of the sample.
Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the safety of themselves, their colleagues, and the environment.
Communicate abnormalities discovered during maintenance or troubleshooting to the relevant parties early enough
Requirements
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Minimum of 4 years oil-field experience.
Physical fitness and the ability to work in challenging environments.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical, or Civil is preferable.
Relevant certifications in well operations and safety (e.g., H2S certification, First Aid, CPR).
