    Human Resources Business Partner

    JOB PURPOSE

    The job holder will drive the HR strategy to support the business divisions and deliver comprehensive, proactive, customer-focused HR service, advice, and guidance to managers, employees in the Company.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Preparing and managing pay budgets and payroll; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; and recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions
    • Co-ordinates the requirement and availability of talent for the business division
    • Conducts periodic Performance Appraisal across the operating team in the entire division
    • Prepares and deploys payroll activities every month and ensure all employees are paid promptly and accurately
    • Establishes a network of relationships with the employees and ensure that this improves efficiency across the businesses division
    • Identifies aspects of the business operations that requires adequate skills improvements through training
    • Keeps the records; documents and files relating to all staff within the division

    REQUIREMENTS

    • A good first degree in social/management/physical sciences
    • Possession of a Postgraduate degree in Human Resources/Business Administration or related field is an added advantage
    • Minimum of 5-6 years experience in a similar role
    • Membership of the CIPM, PHRI, CIPD, or any other related professional qualification is required

    Senior Manager, Tax Management

    JOB PURPOSE

    To keep the business abreast with and compliant with state and all tax regulations and develop policies for dealing with tax-related issues. The job holder must be up to date with emerging tax laws and trends and advise the Company on how to manage tax burdens.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead the implementation of the strategic Tax plan for the Company
    • Assist the Company to make rational tax decisions and maximize tax engagements
    • Prepares and files annual and periodic tax returns, whilst ensuring the business is not exposed to tax risk
    • Keep abreast of relevant updates regarding financial reporting framework and tax regulation whilst advising the business on a need basis.
    • Oversee the process of tax computation, Capital Allowance Computation, and obtaining certificates of acceptance.
    • Plan, assigns, and supervises audit staff
    • Implement Tax operations

    REQUIREMENTS

    • A good first degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance
    • Membership of CITN, ICAN, CFA or any other related professional qualification is required.
    • Minimum of 8 years in a core financial/Tax Operations capacity
    • Knowledge  FIRS  and  GAAP 
    • Knowledge of the Food/QSR Industry processes

    Senior Manager Financial Reporting (Treasurer)

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Job holder shall oversee the treasury affairs of the business and ensure they are legal, constitutional, and within an accepted accounting practice. Monitor and report on the financial health of the business. Assist and provide adequate support to the Head of Finance with respect to fundraise, custody of funds, utilization of funds and safety of cash assets.

    • Formulate Strategic Treasury document for the Business
    • Supervises, motivates, and leads teams by identifying roles and providing guidance on service output and quality
    • Supervise all incoming and outgoing banking transactions on behalf of the company
    • Recommend and implement necessary controls and policies to safeguard cash assets of the business (covering receipt, custody and disbursement of cash and other financial information)
    • Coordinate the process of fund raising and provide all required information in conjunction with the Financial Adviser
    • Establish reporting procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
    • Ensure that appropriate finance systems are maintained and that all procedures/controls are implemented
    • Ensure that direct reports are suitably motivated by providing them with:  a sense of achievement, responsibility for decision making, and recognition of achievement
    • A good first degree in Accounting or Banking and Finance or related studies
    • Membership of the ACCA, ICAN, CIS, or any other related professional qualification is required.
    • Minimum of 8 years in Treasury or core Finance role with at least 3 years in Management capacity.
    • Knowledge of Cash Management Principles
    • Knowledge of the Food/QSR Industry processes
