    Poultry Production Officer

    Job Overview:

    The Poultry Production Officer will oversee daily operations related to poultry production, ensuring optimal animal health, high-quality production, and efficient farm management. This role involves monitoring poultry health, managing feed and nutrition, and implementing best practices for production to achieve desired yield levels and meet company quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Poultry Health Management:

    • Regularly inspect poultry for signs of disease or distress and take immediate corrective actions as needed.
    • Administer vaccines and medications as per health protocols.
    • Maintain accurate records of flock health, treatments, and mortalities.

    Feed and Nutrition:

    • Monitor and manage feed intake to ensure optimal growth and health.
    • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure consistent availability of high-quality feed.
    • Evaluate feed conversion ratios and make adjustments to improve efficiency.

    Production Monitoring and Reporting:

    • Track production performance indicators, including egg production, weight gain, and mortality rates.
    • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports on production statistics.
    • Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

    Environmental and Biosecurity Control:

    • Maintain strict biosecurity measures to prevent disease outbreaks.
    • Monitor ventilation, temperature, and humidity to ensure a comfortable and healthy environment.
    • Ensure cleanliness and sanitization of the poultry houses and equipment.

    Inventory and Resource Management:

    • Manage inventory levels of feed, medications, and other supplies.
    • Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of necessary materials.
    • Record and report inventory usage to ensure accurate stock levels.

    Compliance and Documentation:

    • Ensure compliance with relevant local and international poultry production regulations.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for audit purposes.
    • Adhere to animal welfare standards throughout production processes.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Poultry Science, Agriculture, or a related field.
    • Experience: 2+ years of experience in poultry farming or production management.
    • Skills:
      • Strong knowledge of poultry health, feeding, and biosecurity.
      • Excellent record-keeping and reporting abilities.
      • Strong leadership and team management skills.
      • Familiarity with animal welfare standards and regulatory compliance.

    Preferred Competencies:

    • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

    Vegetable Agronomist

    Job Overview:

    The Vegetable Agronomist is responsible for developing and implementing agronomic practices to improve vegetable crop yield, quality, and sustainability. This role involves monitoring crop health, conducting soil analysis, advising on pest and disease management, and ensuring adherence to best agricultural practices. The Vegetable Agronomist will work closely with farm teams to optimize production efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and achieve the farm\'s quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Crop Planning and Management:

    • Develop crop schedules and rotation plans based on season, market demand, and farm resources.
    • Monitor and manage growth stages to achieve optimal yields and quality.
    • Conduct soil analysis and make recommendations for soil amendments to improve fertility.

    Plant Health and Nutrition:

    • Recommend and implement nutrient management plans tailored to each vegetable crop.
    • Monitor crops for signs of nutrient deficiency, pest infestations, and diseases.

    Pest and Disease Management:
