    Electrical & HVAC Preparation Engineer M/F

    • SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for a Electrical & HVAC Preparation Engineer to join its work force in Nigeria.
    • HSE:
    • Establishes and maintains a strong safety culture in line with Company HSE Requirements and Rules.
    • Contributes to ensuring that TEPDK and NorSpie's HSE regulations are considered during preparations as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practices.

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

    • Responsible for all ELECTRICAL Preparations subjects (systems, packages, or plant) under the frame of responsibilities.
    • Ensuring conformance to Client's Company rules, best standards, and general legislations.
    • Ensures delivery of Work Preparations and support to maintenance activities of the Site team.
    • MAIN FUNCTIONS:
    • Contribute to ensure adherence to stipulated GMC scope of services and improved performance of all Technical
    • KPIs', Preparations, Backlog Control Planning and Equipment availability/reliability.
    • Take charge of Work Orders under His/her responsibility and ensure the accuracy of detailed technical elements during preparations.
    • Ensures Work Orders are accurately resourced, all materials, tools, and services are identified and pre-planned in CMIMS for execution at site and work location.
    • Review procedures/work instructions and ensure adaptability, review functional locations and related WO lists to ensure that all outstanding works in the concerned package/system are fully considered during the preparations.
    • Ensure that Permit to Work are properly prepared in line with the defined procedures and ready ahead of execution datelines. Typical 5 Weeks to the execution start date.
    • Ensures compliance to the best preparations standard practices and in line with TEPDK defined principles and guidelines by ensuring minimal unapproved WOs under the scope of responsibility, platforms or packages, especially those critical to Safety and production. (Defined WOs Priorities, SECE, Vital Equipment etc.)
    • As a principle and in adherence to the set GMC KPI, the work preparer shall try to maintain at all times, a threshold of ≤ 5% INIT of the total open work order count, under the frame of responsibilities.
    • On a daily basis, the PM04 preparations guideline shall help to define the priorities of the daily tasks. All activities requested by the Clients to be managed as a higher priority within the frame of contract shall be checked with the GMC Preparations - focal point for clarifications where required.
    • All PM WOs under the scope of responsibility shall be released minimum of 6 Weeks to the Earliest Start Date.
    • Provide urgent, short term and long-term site supports as applicable, within the boundaries of preparations responsibilities and within the frame of GMC contract.
    • Initiate identification of new SAP UNISOL material. Update material creation template as required with the frame of the GMC Contract.
    • Request for master data change by raising NM notification as required.

    The holder of this post must have the following qualifications:

    • Equivalent of DUT/BTS (French), Bachelors in relevant specialties Electrical/HVAC /Marine Engineering.
    • Experience in ELECTRICAL Systems in the Offshore Environment.
    • Professional experience: 5 years in Oil & Gas business especially in work preparations or related fields.
    • Experience in maintenance operations support.
    • Good knowledge of planning and CMIMS tools (preferably SAP based), E-vision permit Systems and other Preparations, Tools/Resources.

    Senior Corrosion Engineer M/F

    Job description

    • Thanks to its internationally recognized expertise in the field of oil and gas production unit operations, maintenance and also Renewable Energy market, SPIE Global Services Energy was selected to provide this activity on AMENAM PROJECT in Nigeria.
    • In this context, we are looking for competent and passionate professionals for a Senior Corrosion Engineer M/F.
    • This position is located OFFSHORE in NIGERIA on AMENAM in ROTATIONAL MODE 8x3 (8 weeks on site / 3 weeks at home). Based in the camp in Port Harcourt. 

    Job Description:

    • Prepare, review, and implement Corrosion & Prevention management philosophy.
    • Schedule and execute Corrosion Surveys and Studies and recommend the necessary remedial actions
    • Ensure that corrosion-monitoring operations are correctly performed as per TOTALENERGIES E&P specifications and best practice
    • Validate scope of works.
    • Review Corrosion-Monitoring and Inspection results regularly and assess together in view of providing a global evaluation of Integrity
    • Liaise with TOTALENERGIES Headquarters for corrosion matters with the aim of improving the physical integrity of Production Facilities
    • Investigate and analyze Facility malfunctions from the standpoint of Corrosion Evolutions and, in liaison with the Inspection Teams Onshore and Offshore, propose solutions to repair the equipment and prevent repetitions of the corrosion issues.
    • Supervise the CP inspector to ensure Cathodic Protection systems are effective and optimally maintained
    • Supervise the Investigation and analysis of Cathodic Protection results. Report any anomalies and propose solutions to prevent them.
    • From injection rates and results from bubble testing and coupons, define/modify pipeline cleaning programs and chemical injection rates in conjunction with production chemistry.
    • Provide technical recommendations for planned and Adhoc inspection reports for all corrosion related inspection findings
    • Follow up all corrosion related concerns in processes such as SMR.
    • Investigate LOPCs and implement the results to ensure a reduction in their trends along all sites.

    Profile

    We are primarily looking for a candidate who demonstrates the following skills:

    • A qualification in Corrosion Engineering (MSc or NACE Snr Corrosion Technologist or Equivalent).
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in Corrosion Engineer’s functions (internal and external corrosion), preferably in E&P.

    Mechanical Supervisor M/F

    Job description

    On-site the maintenance operations which are placed under his responsibility,

    • Assists the Planning Engineer with the resourcing and suitable planning input to ensure a quality preparation and organises execution of all Maintenance works.
    • With his teams assists specialists working under Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC),
    • Ensures that COMPANY’s HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures related to Work Permits), as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during preparation and performance of maintenance operations placed under his responsibility,
    • Manages interventions using the CMIMS and work packs provided by the planning team,
    • Reviews all intervention reports in the CMIMS (including those concerning SMC) and writes the detailed technical reports related to his field,
    • Monitors (and in certain plant – Operates) the functioning of utilities and all equipment placed under his responsibility, Takes part in daily, weekly and coordination meetings on SITE,
    • Ensures that the transfer of knowledge by mentoring occurs properly within his teams and actively participates in this himself, leading others by his example,
    • Manages and Coaches/Mentors the team of technicians directly under his responsibility, Is a member of the SITE emergency team,
    • Carries out, at, any intervention within his field of competence.
    • Takes in charge the systems under his responsibility in case of breakdown until correct operation is resumed.
    • He is responsible for maintenance operations within his field of competence.
    • He ensures that maintenance operations under his responsibility are carried out in strict accordance with COMPANY’s current safety rules and operating procedures and in accordance with standard industry practice, thereby guaranteeing the quality of maintenance operations, within his field, carried out on SITE by CONTRACTOR.
    • He guarantees a good level of availability of the equipment he is responsible for on production SITES.
    • He plays a predominant role in the transfer of skills to personnel undergoing training and development by mentoring on SITE.

    Profile

    • Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent, 10 to15 years’ experience in the field of maintenance on oil and gas production installations,
    • A good knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations
    • Specific professional knowledge: CMIMS: SAP
    • Ability to lead and motivate multi-national teams, Takes a Pride in his work,

    Maintenance Planner/Scheduler M/F

    Job description

    SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for a  Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to join its work force.

    HSE:

    • Contributes to ensuring that TEPDK and NorSpie’s HSE regulations are considered during planning as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practices.
    • Take particular attention to the planning linked to the SECE equipment.


    GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

    • Responsible to plan and schedule (2 weeks, 5 weeks and 4 months look ahead) all activities under GMC activities
      in SAP tacking into account readiness (material, resources, support required from other stakeholders).
    • Ensure conformance to Client’s Company rules, best standards, and general legislations.

    MAIN FUNCTIONS:

    • Contribute to ensure adherence to stipulated GMC scope of services and improved performance of all Technical KPIs’, Preparations, Backlog Control Planning and Equipment availability/reliability.
    • Respect all processes and procedure (GMC and TEPDK) in place.
    • Ensuring planned jobs are accurately resourced, all materials, tools, and services are identified and pre-planned in CMIMS/SAP for execution at site and work location.
    • Ensuring allocation of resources for the execution of planned jobs
    • Coordinates meetings with offshore stakeholders for review of draft plan, follow up on site feedback and make necessary adjustment before plan is frozen for offshore execution.
    • Follow up with offshore to ensure clean-up on SAP, of all planned and completed jobs.
    • Ensure 2 weeks is following the scheduling principal, taking into account Vital equipment list, Smart room request, team lead and offshore request.
    • Interacts with other functional planners (maintenance, FMC, Well Services, Projects, etc.) and IOP planner to optimize interrelated activities.
    • Executes regular reviews of backlog of planned work to reduce as much as possible (especially the SECE).
    • Facilitate follow-up of non-executed jobs to ensure additional preparation of the WOs is done.
    • Coordinate shutdown and campaign: creation and follow-up of readiness tracker (list of WOs, opportunities jobs, materials follow-up, and reporting), ensure to give status during regular meeting with all different stakeholders.
    • Creation of the execution plan (MS Project) and create progress report.
    • Communication with onshore material coordinators (GMC & TEPDK) regarding shipping of materials and create break-ins as required.

    Profile

    The holder of this post must have the following qualifications:

    • Chartered Engineer (A-levels + 5 years’ study) or Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years’
      study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent.
    • 5 to 10 years’ experience in the maintenance field on oil and gas production installations.
    • A basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations.
    • Fully conversant with SAP/R3
    • MS office and Excel good proficiency
    • Ability to advise and motivate multi-national teams
