Job Summary

• We are recruiting several Business Development Officers for our client across various locations in Abuja and Lagos.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for mobilizing deposits to meet monthly targets.
• Build and maintain high-value relationships with corporate and individual clients.
• Conduct market intelligence to identify opportunities for deposit growth.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on deposit trends and provide actionable insights.
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory and institutional policies.
• Follow up relationship on new and existing customer base.
• Have and demonstrate excellent customer relationship.
• Have transferable customer base.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Finance, or a related discipline
• 3 - 6 years of experience in the Mortgage banking / banking sector with proven expertise in deposit mobilization is mandatory
• Excellent negotiation and client relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.
• Ability to meet and exceed targets under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in digital banking tools and platforms.

• We are looking for seasoned Business Development Managers for our client, a mortgage bank, to drive and lead our business development efforts.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and executing strategic business opportunities that drive revenue growth to expand our market presence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve growth targets for our borrowings (deposits) portfolio.
• Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities through networking, partnerships, and sales efforts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry leaders.
• Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and marketing to drive business growth.
• Negotiate and close deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in deposit mobilization and sales of financial products. (Proven track record is required).(Banking /Mortgage banking)
• Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building strategic partnerships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic management skills.
