    Commercial Business Support Officer

    Job Description

    • Support the day-to-day operations of Bancassurance, Tele-sales, and other revenue-generating channels, including software setup, commercial expansion, sales summits, loans, HMO, sales promotions, payments (commissions, fixed & variable payments, incentives, and other benefits), reports, sales calls, and other meetings. Assist in managing partnership operations by ensuring the proper implementation of existing partner agreements, including service levels, contractual distribution, product offerings, remuneration, and related agreements. Contribute to the follow-up and implementation of projects agreed upon in Bancassurance Steering Committee (Executive and Operational meetings, supporting relationship management with existing partners.
    • Handle and resolve objections from the commercial team professionally and confidentially ensuring prompt responses to inquiries and concerns.
    • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of agreed expectations across partnered Business Units, Unit Heads, Technology, Sales Administration, Recruitment, and Product Development within the commercial group. Assist in data collection and interpretation, identifying patterns and trends in revenue drivers and profit margins to support decision-making.
    • Gather insights from business trends and targets to contribute to the planning and preparation of general and sales incentives, securing necessary approvals from relevant parties.
    • Prepare and share reports with business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of results, insights, and performance metrics..
    • Support policy implementation based on data analysis to enhance revenue and sales operations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and management to identify areas for improved strategic alignment and operational efficiency.
    • Contribute to data collection and analysis improvements, ensuring accurate forecasting and revenue monitoring.
    • Utilize technical expertise to analyze data through advanced models, identifying key insights that impact the sales application, business plan, and commercial budget. Track and report on commercial plan progress, ensuring key performance drivers are monitored and evaluated regularly. Assist in the implementation of sales incentives

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of B.Sc degree (at least a Second Class lower grade)

    Experience

    • 2+ years of experience in sales support, commercial operations, or an administrative role within the insurance industry.

    Competencies

    • Knowledge of insurance products, distribution channels, and regulatory requirements
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Experience with CRM and insurance policy administration systems is an advantage.

    Team Lead, Bancassurance Recruitment & Training

    Job Description

    • Lead the recruitment process for Financial Sales Executives (FSEs), ensuring the selection of high-performing candidates.
    • Develop and implement a structured onboarding program to equip new recruits with the necessary product knowledge, sales techniques, and compliance guidelines.
    • Design and execute comprehensive training programs on insurance products, sales techniques, regulatory requirements, and customer engagement.
    • Conduct periodic refresher training sessions to enhance sales team capabilities and performance. Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and adjust strategies based on feedback and performance metrics.
    • Ensure all Bancassurance sales team members comply with industry regulations and company policies through continuous learning initiatives. Work closely with the sales team and bank partners to identify training gaps and implement tailored development plans.
    • Work closely with insurance training colleges, industry regulators, and professional bodies to facilitate licensing and professional certification for the sales team members.
    • Support sales teams in achieving business targets by ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
    • Liaise with bank partners and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment in recruitment and training Initiatives.
    • Work with the Product Development and Marketing teams to ensure the sales team is up to date with the latest product offerings and promotional strategies.
    • Maintain and update records of recruitment, training sessions, and performance assessments.
    • Ensure that all training and recruitment activities comply with regulatory and company guidelines. Prepare periodic reports on recruitment progress, training impact, and performance metrics for senior management review.

    Qualifications

    • 4+ years of experience in sales recruitment, HR, licensing, training, or sales management within the insurance or financial services industry.

    • Expertise in sales training, competency development, and adult learning principles.

    • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and build high-performing teams.
    • Strong verbal, written, and facilitation skills for training and stakeholder engagement.
    • Ability to analyse sales data, identify gaps, and implement solutions.
    • Track record of improving sales effectiveness through structured programs.
