    Presales Manager

    Department: Commercial

    Role Summary

    • As a presales manager, you will work closely across various verticals such as engineering, product development, sales and marketing, and customer relations.
    • Your job will also include understanding the customer’s needs and pitching the company’s products as suitable solutions. You will also be required to actively observe customer behavior and predict future needs for product development.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Plan sales strategies in response to market and competitors’ behavior.
    • Work in sync with the product development team and develop sustainable and commercially viable products.
    • Understand customer needs and make sales presentations.
    • Liaise with the marketing team to undertake demand-generating activities such as trade shows or customer workshops.
    • Prepare sales proposals and train other sales representatives periodically.
    • Planning of sales strategies and marketing concepts, the positioning in contrast to the competitors and the demonstration of the business
    • Preparation of presentations about the products or services with all their values for the usage of the commercial department
    • Engagement with the customers and interpretation of their needs and derivation of advice for prospective products that are aligned with the customers' demands
    • Working directly with clients to understand their business strategy, programme requirements & processes
    • Developing solutions and organising, planning, creating & delivering compelling proof of concept demonstrations

    • Facilitation of client product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell
    • Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.
    • Create presentations and design architecture diagrams to present solutions to customer executives
    • Developing long lasting and high-quality business relationships with clients by instilling trust and confidence
    • Utilising specialist knowledge of business processes (including related applications and technologies) to support the development and expansion of the solution footprint to meet clients’ articulated business strategy
    • Providing knowledge transfer to the delivery teams to ensure a smooth handover from sales to delivery
    • Accountable for overall functional & technical work stream pre-sales programme design.
    • Accountable for pre-sales overall programme integration designs.

    Requirements
    Educational Qualification:

    • First Degree in Engineering: Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
    • Master’s Degree in a related field will be an added advantage.

    Work Experience:

    • A minimum of 10 years’ experience of which 5 must have been in a supervisory capacity with key knowledge in Implementation and Integration of Intelligent networking systems
    • Industry expertise of core business strategic sectors
    • 3-5 years’ demonstrable experience in developing creative and client-pleasing solutions to complex business problems
    • 3-5 years’ demonstrable Programme level Solution Architect experience
    • Excellent working knowledge of Solution and Integration Design.

    • Dynamic and Creative; Ability to assimilate quickly and act decisively.
    • Good knowledge of network operation processes and interfaces

    Satellite Sales Engineer

    Department: Commercial

    Role Summary

    • We are looking for a tech-savvy sales engineer to assist with the selling of satellite dishes and other related and ancillary services. The Satellite Sales Engineer's responsibilities include maintaining extensive knowledge of P3’s satellite dish and service portfolio, functions, and processes and assisting to close sales with the needed technical expertise as per the clients' needs.
    • S/he must possess an in-depth knowledge of our company's technical products and services and should be able to relate this knowledge in a way that is understandable to non-technical customers.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Preparing and developing technical presentations to explain Phase 3’s satellite services to customers.
    • Discussing equipment needs and system requirements with customers and engineers.
    • Collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
    • Generating high-quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging deliveries.
    • Researching, developing and modifying P3’s satellite dish offerings to meet customers' technical requirements and needs.
    • Helping customers who have problems with products and recommending improved or upgraded materials and services.
    • Soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers.
    • Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues as well as possible solutions to executive management.
    • Setting and achieving satellite dish sales goals and quotas.
    • Training other members of the sales team on the technical aspects of the company's satellite dish products and services.
    • Support sales executives with solution selling into prospect account base
    • Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles
    • Model the financial business case associated with each sales opportunity
    • Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
    • Manage all technical aspects of RFI/RFQ responses
    • Effectively communicate client needs to the Engineering teams for future product enhancements
    • Collect and document competitive intelligence
    • Prepare and give technical presentations to explain to customers how the products and services work.
    • Work with the customers and Engineers to ensure the equipment and services meet the system requirements.
    • Recommend new and improved products to the customers and explain how the equipment will be more cost-effective.
    • Advise customers on how best to use the products or services purchases and in use already, for existing customers.
    • Collaborating with the Design and Engineering departments of the company to determine how products and services could be made or modified to suit the needs of the customer.
    • Using technical skills to demonstrate to potential customers the usefulness of P3’s satellite dishes and ancillary services and how it may suit the customer better than competing products.
