Duties / Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements
• Examine and analyze the company's accounts
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures.
• Ensure that proper documentation is in place
• Review current practices and processes to ensure that they can support the business and are in line with statutory requirements
• Ensure statutory remittances, including VAT, WHT, pension, business premises fees, development fees for staff, and PAYE are collated and payment is made to statutory agencies based on scheduled timelines.
• Prepare pay slips for all employees based on schedule and emails accordingly
• Work with CEO on pricing new company products
• Perform any other task assigned

Skills / Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting from an accredited institution.
• ACA/ACCA Certified
• Has experience within the production, manufacturing and/or hospitality industry.
• ICAN or ACCA certified with not less than 5 years of experience in the field of accounting
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office
• Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Proven knowledge of management accounting and tax laws
• Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation.

Summary

• Our client is in need of a clothing pattern-maker who will be responsible for creating blueprint or pattern pieces for a variety of clothing apparels/design.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Meet with product designers to discuss the base design and review final product
• Create rough draft templates using freehand techniques
• Measure, cut, and design patterns in the materials required.
• Double-check pattern dimensions and style
• Grade and/or adjust pieces for different garment sizes
• Tweak patterns as required
• File all designs created

Skills and Qualifications

• B.Sc / HND in a recognised institution
• Diploma in fashion or related course is an advantage
• At least 3 years previous experience as a fashion pattern-maker
• Be able to work with various clothing styles that have complicated pattern requirements
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design models
• Experience with measuring, snipping, milling, and cutting tools
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Ability to work to a deadline
