    Drilling Supervisor

    Purpose 

    Rig-site authority for safe and efficient execution of approved program

    Responsibilities

    • Run the well per program; perform pre-job briefs, JSA, and permit-to-work verification.
    • Supervise rig crew and service companies (directional, mud, cementing, wireline, fishing); verify critical tests (BOP/annular/accumulator), pit-gain monitoring, kick detection/response.
    • Approve step-changes, deviations, and contingencies; maintain well barrier schematic and red-line drawings.
    • Real-time cost/time tracking vs look-ahead; daily ops report (DOR), morning report inputs, DDR verification.
    • Enforce DROPS, lifting plans, confined-space, and SIMOPS controls with marine/production teams.

    KPIs

    • Zero LTIs; compliance with well control drills; NPT ≤ plan; accurate daily costs and consumables; no unapproved program deviations.

    Qualifications

    • 8–10 yrs supervisory drilling experience; IWCF L4, BOSIET/HUET, H2S; strong knowledge of swamp logistics and barge operations.

    Fluids Engineer

    Purpose 

    Responsible for the design of drilling mud and completion fluids.

    Responsibilities

    • Designs, tests, and maintains drilling and completion fluid systems on an oil or gas rig.
    • They prevent wellbore instability, control downhole pressures, and ensure safe drilling by constantly monitoring mud weight, viscosity, and chemical properties.
    • Conduct daily fluid checks for density, viscosity, gel strengths, salinity, and solids control to keep mud properties within the target drilling window.
    • Adjust mud parameters to maintain Equivalent Circulating Density (ECD) and prevent kicks or lost circulation.
    • Prepare daily mud reports and comprehensive end-of-well summaries.
    • Ensure strict adherence to environmental and safety regulations regarding chemical handling and waste management.

    • 100% fluid efficiency, system reliability, contamination control, and cost

    Drilling Engineer

    Purpose

    Maintain safe, continuous drilling operations, holding the line on program, barriers, and quality.

    Responsibilities

    • Design, plan, and supervise oil and gas well operations.
    • Well construction, optimizing drilling efficiency, controlling costs, and ensuring strict adherence to HSE standards from initial concept to final well completion.
    • Monitor day-to-day drilling progress, liaise with rig crews, and provide technical surveillance on-site.
    • Monitor well parameters and alarms; initiate shut-in per program; execute well control first actions.
    • Verify tallys, cement volumes, mud properties, hydraulics; sign-off on night DOR.
    • Analyze drilling parameters and post-drill data to identify efficiencies and best practices.

    Completions Engineer

    Purpose 

    Lead all completion/workover operations end-to-end (slickline/wireline, sand-control, ESP/GLV installs, perforations, zonal isolation, clean-up).

    Responsibilities

    • Validate completion designs (upper/lower, Packers, SSDs, ICDs), tubing movement calcs, setting depths, torque/drag, and well barrier envelopes.
    • Lead redress/pressure testing of completion assemblies; verify drift/tally/torque-turn data.
    • Supervise perforating, acidizing, frac-packs/pump-downs (as applicable), inflow testing and handover to production.
    • Manage interface with wireline, coil, well test, and production tech for clean-up and flowback.

    KPIs

    • First-time-right completion installs; zero barrier failures; clean-up to target rates/pressures; EOWR quality.

    Wellsite Geologist

    Purpose

    Provide real-time subsurface surveillance and wellbore integrity support during workovers and drilling.

    Responsibilities

    • Geology: Monitor cuttings, mud logs, GR/resistivity; correlate to offset wells; advise on perforation depths, sand tops, potential losses or over-pressured zones.
    • PE: Update well schematics; calculate inflow potential, skin, lift performance; recommend perforation strategy, stimulation needs, and clean-up parameters.
    • Validate plug setting depths, cement top verification, and zonal isolation diagnostics; QA wireline/PLT/DST data.
    • Generate subsurface sections for DOR, support change management for depth or target updates.

    KPIs

    • Accurate depth picks/perf windows; reduced non-productive perforations; quality PLT/DST interpretation.

    Qualifications

    • 6–10 yrs wellsite geology and/or PE; familiarity with brownfield sands, swamp reservoirs, and workover diagnostics.

    QA/QC Engineers

    Purpose

    Assure quality of equipment, materials, and critical operations on the rig.

    Responsibilities

    • Enforce inspection & test plans (ITPs); witness FAT/SIT where required; verify CoCs/MTRs for tubulars, wellhead, BOP, elastomers.
    • Oversee running procedures for casing/tubing; confirm drifts, tallies, torque/turn graphs, connection make-up acceptance criteria.
    • Validate mud checks, cement slurry QA (density, rheology, free-fluid, thickening time), and lab results.
    • Audit permits, JSAs, and lifting plans; verify calibration of gauges, load cells, torque equipment, and flow meters.

    KPIs

    • Zero critical QA escapes; complete and signed QC dossiers per well; non-conformances closed within SLA.

    Qualifications

    8+ yrs QA/QC in drilling/completions; familiarity with API/ISO for OCTG, BOP, wellheads; BOSIET/HUET.

    Materials & Logistics Supervisor

    Purpose

    Plan and control all materials, marine moves, lifting, and waste backload to keep the rig fed and schedule intact.

    Responsibilities

    • Build and execute the rig look-ahead manifest (7/14/28-day); align with marine schedule, tides, daylight restrictions, and SIMOPS.
    • Control inventory (OCTG, wellhead, mud/chemicals, rental tools, spares); maintain min/max, shelf-life, and preservation.
    • Issue pick lists, load-out plans, lashing/lift plans; ensure certifications and MSDS accompany loads.
    • Backload management: returns, waste segregation, tracking and reconciliation; custody of critical tools.
    • Field-ticket collation and 3-way match (PO/GRN/Invoice) with cost control; expedite shortages.

    KPIs

    • Zero rig waiting on materials; 100% manifest accuracy; no lifting non-conformances; inventory accuracy ≥98%.

    Qualifications

    • 7+ yrs oilfield logistics; swamp/marine coordination experience; competent in lifting & banksman standards.

    HSE Supervisor (Rig-site)

    Purpose

    Lead site HSE, ensuring risk control, emergency readiness, and compliance across drilling/workover/completions.

    Responsibilities

    • Own PTW system, JSAs, and site inductions; verify competence (IWCF/IADC, BOSIET, H2S).
    • Run daily HSE meetings, drills (well control, man-overboard, fire, spill), and SIMOPS interfaces.
    • Inspect DROPS, lifting gear, housekeeping, chemical handling, and confined spaces; track actions to closeout.
    • Incident management: ICAM investigations, reporting, lessons learned; maintain medevac plans and clinics.
    • Environmental: waste hierarchy, spill prevention/response, effluent control; ensure statutory registers are current.

    KPIs

    • TRIR/LTI = 0; 100% drill compliance; audit action closeout on time; environmental compliance with zero spills.

    Qualifications

    NEBOSH/ISPON (or equivalent), 8+ yrs rig HSE; strong PTW/SIMOPS experience; BOSIET/HUET, H2S.
