    Commercial Coordinator

    We are on an evolutionary journey where we’re changing our story. We are looking to hire an experienced Commercial Coordinator to join our diverse team in our Company.

    In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring effective value for money on all commercial contractual agreements and resolving all commercial disputes across the E&P lifecycle.

    As a Commercial Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

    Commercial 

    • Identifying, developing and implementing opportunities that improve commercial leverage and value for money through contract formation, negotiation and commercial obligations management.
    • Making effective recommendations for generating new income streams for organization.
    • Provide effective pre- and post-contract commercial management in conjunction with the Legal Counsel and ensure that maximum commercial entitlements are pursued.
    • Liaising with relevant departments to define project goals, scope, execution strategies, risk, economics, completion timelines and commercial viability. 
    • Investigating / resolving identified commercial and contractual conflicts and issues through proactive interventions, engaging where necessary dispute resolution activities in conjunction with the Legal Counsel.

    Business Development 

    • Implementing business generation/market penetration strategies for the Organization. 
    • Implementing strategies to drive the achievement of smart business targets for Organization. 
    • Implementing strategies for monitoring developments and trends in the business environment; analyze the impacts on the Organization’s operations and develop appropriate response strategies. 
    • Providing support on projects to optimize the capital and cash within the company.
    • Become fully conversant with the full range of Services and be able to identify opportunities for other business areas within the OML 42 Asset operations.
    • Partnering with marketing teams across the Group to identify and develop opportunities as appropriate.

    Projects Management

    • Reviewing adequacy and effectiveness of quality system in satisfying project quality and other compliance requirements. 
    • Reviewing and validating project budgets, cost control strategies and development of business continuity plans. 
    • Ensuring that project invoicing is carried out in accordance with terms and conditions of contract and that cash position is maximized.
    • Ensuring that variation requests and contract amendment requests are prepared and submitted in accordance with contract requirements. 
    • Ensuring optimized management of resources (equipment & personnel). 
    • Managing related resources in a cost-effective way to ensure financial results better than estimated.

    What are we looking for?

    • Degree in Engineering, Economics, Law or related Business-related discipline
    • Relevant professional certification.
    • Minimum of 8 years’ significant experience in a commercial role within the oil and gas industry (preferably with an Operator or Joint Venture Owner)
    • Expert level understanding of oil and gas industry financial and economic principles 
    • Significant experience of oil and gas Joint Ventures include joint venture forums and contractual agreements.
    • Strong knowledge of setting up and commercial management of Joint Ventures 
    • Extensive experience in working across the full commercial / contractual life cycle process from proposal to project close–out.
    • Good knowledge of asset economic modelling 
    • Extensive experience of working closely with Legal, Proposals and Business Development functions from a pre-contract perspective 
    • Strong project management skills. 
    • Well-developed collaboration, verbal and written communication skills. 
    • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks. 
    • Good leadership and team building skills

    IT Security Analyst

    We are on an evolutionary journey where we are changing our story. We are looking to hire an experienced IT Security Analyst to join our diverse team in our Company.

    In this role, you will be responsible to provide continuous onsite knowhow within the ICT Department to help maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) of IT systems and information. The candidate will deploy and employ technology tools and skill for proactive and reactive monitoring of all IT infrastructure and application services

    As an IT Security Analyst, you will be responsible for:

    • Analyzing network security protocols, technologies, and architectures including Cloud computing models.
    • Implementing and managing firewalls including intrusion detection and prevention systems.
    • Conducting security risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies
    • Recommending security updates and patches across platforms
    • Knowledge of security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
    • Performing IT security audit
    • Monitoring and responding to the Sophos MDR notifications
    • Providing monthly security training to all users
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to security incidents or emerging threats.
    • Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools, network scanning techniques, and penetration testing methodologies.
    • Familiarity with FortiGate Firewall series and Fortinet Analyzer

    What are we looking for?

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
    • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Microsoft Certified Identity and Access Administrator, Microsoft Certified Information Protection Administrator, Cybersecurity Certification, Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP).
    • 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in computer security, architecture, design, engineering, implementation, and administration in complex large IT networks
    • Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud computing platforms.
    • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements, such as GDPR or HIPAA.
    • Experience with security incident response processes and tools.
    • Familiarity with secure coding practices and application security principles
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong leadership and collaboration skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies is an advantage
    • Understands information classification and the CIA objectives
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
    • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the evolving security landscape and emerging technologies

    Assets Lead

    In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and reliability of an organization’s assets, ensuring they operate safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. This role involves leading a team, developing maintenance strategies, and implementing best practices to maximize asset life and minimize downtime.

    SBU: NESTOIL OPERATIONS

    As an Assets Lead, you will be responsible for:

    Developing and Implementing Maintenance Strategies:

    • Creating and implementing long-term maintenance plans for various assets, ensuring they align with business goals and regulatory requirement.

    Leading and Managing a Maintenance Team:

    • Assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring the team operates effectively and efficiently.

    Technical Knowledge:

    • Should have technical expertise, particularly for compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and providing support for complex issues.

    Preventive and Corrective Maintenance:

    • Overseeing the execution of both preventive maintenance (scheduled maintenance to prevent breakdowns) and corrective maintenance (repairing equipment after a failure). 

    Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Management of Change (MoC):

    • Leading investigations into equipment failures and implementing processes to prevent recurrence, as well as managing changes to assets and processes.

    Contractor and Supplier Management:

    • Overseeing the work of contractors and vendors, including technical input on tenders and performance monitoring.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment condition, and performance metrics.

    Continuous Improvement: 

    • Identifying opportunities to improve maintenance processes and equipment performance

    What are we looking for?

    • A Bachelors Degree in Engineering, an MSc degree will be an advantage.
    • Experience: Significant experience in asset management or maintenance engineering.
      At least 8-10 years of relevant asset management experience within the oil and gas/ upstream sector
    • Technical Expertise: Engineering Degree required. Strong technical knowledge of relevant equipment and systems (any of cranes, diesel engines, earth moving equipment, etc.). Familiar with maintenance management systems
