    Technical Product Manager

    Location: Ibadan, Oyo

    Job Summary

    • The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for growth systems within the organisation merging our hardware services with our software services and leveraging data for success.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Drive the execution of the roadmap for specific products within our product basket implementing innovative solutions for Mottainai Recycling Customers
    • Liaise , negotiate and partner with mobile network operators, banks and payment aggregators to get the most performance and cost effective payment integrations for Mottainai Recycling
    • Collate and process data appropriately for external and internal use
    • Be responsible for product market fit and product market research
    • Identify companies growth opportunities and manage products teams effort to maximise opportunity
    • Define product vision, align stakeholders on product vision, and prioritise product features and capabilities
    • Communicate & coordinate diligently with technology stakeholders.
    • Plan and orchestrate feature releases in collaboration with Customers, Engineering and Business Development
    • Drive companies product to reach next level of scale, impact and profitability
    • Study, analyse and report trends, opportunities for expansion and projection for future company growth.
    • Manage the software engineering team
    • Prepare and review detailed product requirements, design features, write specs, refine feedback, help write test plans, manage backlog and launch products.
    • Run experiments to improve and optimise product performance
    • Ensure product release are launched correctly and on schedule
    • Communicate product updates effectively to product teams and stakeholders.
    • Build an efficient product team whose culture is suited to the challenging and experimental nature of the work.
    • Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
    • Prepare and review detailed product requirements
    • Design wireframes for product features
    • Run experiments to improve and optimise product performance
    • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
    • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
    • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
    • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
    • Measure and report success on implementation
    • Coach and mentor staff in the product team.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science and / or related equivalent experience
    • 4 years of product management experience with demonstrated ability to drive product decisions, work with cross-disciplinary teams and deliver on outstanding products from scratch
    • Proven track history managing a successful product across all aspects of its lifecycle
    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with a get-it-done attitude
    • Ability to conduct user research, user interviews, usability testing sessions
    • Ability to make data-informed product iterations
    • Solid technical background with hands-on experience in software development or web technologies preferred
    • Experience in designing and implementing , and/or integrating third party softwares
    • Experience with payments or financial services preferred
    • Highly organised, self-motivated worker with the ability to effectively multi-task
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience with cross platform applications
    • Experience using PowerBI , Microsoft Azure etc.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Highly customer centric, service oriented with the ability to understand, execute, and meet customers' expectations.

    Remuneration
    N250,000 - N450,000 Monthly.

    Business Development Manager

    Location: Ibadan, Oyo

    Job Summary

    • We require the services of an adept Business Development manager to maximise our business opportunity for revenue and profit, ensuring that all revenue leakages are avoided and revenue streams optimised.
    • Areas of focus for this role would be developing and operationalizing revenue initiatives, competitive benchmarking of our services through pricing initiatives and effective engagement of clients to execute and achieve the overall business growth target/objective.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Direct and oversee the activities of the Business Development Department, aiming at identifying, analysing, and recommending specific business opportunities for the profitable growth and diversification of the business
    • Meets and exceeds departmental monthly targets.
    • Ensure proper documentation of clients are updated and accurate
    • Develop and deliver the business plans through carrying out research, formulate market analysis and deliver accurate business reports.
    • Build referral and lead generation networks.
    • Drive revenue growth and maximise revenue streams from customers
    • Develop a promotional framework that drives revenue growth ensuring alignment with business objectives
    • Develop and operationalize the revenue strategies for multiple markets, customer segments, and business units
    • Develop, enhance and maintain Mottainai Recycling's revenue management initiatives
    • Partner with the marketing, operations and relevant teams to drive revenue growth strategy
    • Determine monthly revenue forecast and identify revenue opportunities
    • Develop revenue recognition policies and revenue generation standards
    • Assist with the Annual Marketing Plan relative to Revenue Generation and Strategy.
    • Monitor and update action plan’s objectives relative to business defined strategy and annual topline revenue goals
    • Reconcile revenue, ensuring maximum compliance from customers
    • Identifying fraud through a proactive approach and putting measures and frameworks to ensure fraud is eliminated or avoided.
    • Communicate revenue-driving initiatives and recommendations to the management.

    Qualifications / Requirements

    • Master's Degree in Accounting, Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, Finance or any other related field
    • Certification in Sales or marketing will be an added advantage
    • Minimum of 5 years of Business Development/ Marketing experience.
    • 2+ years’ work experience on monetization strategies in the financial service industry
    • 2+ years working with cross-department teams (e.g., product, marketing and sales) in different products and services
    • Conversant with enlistment processes
    • Experience with waste management is a plus
    • Experience breaking down complex channel data using various business frameworks and creating optimal strategies for our business
    • 2+ years of experience working with data analysis to achieve meaningful revenue insights
    • Proven and successful experience leading a high-performing revenue team for a business, resulting in increased revenue
    • Strong client relationship management skills
    • Excellent negotiation skills
    • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively
    • Solid organisational skills including attention to details
    • Excellent oral, written communication skills and Presentation skills
    • Experience of religiously using a CRM.

    Remuneration
    N300,000 - N800,000 Monthly.

    Senior GIS Programmer

    Location: Ibadan, Oyo

    Description

    • We require the services of an adept GIS Programmer that can take advantage of GIS to map out areas of service and deploy trucks in an optimal way for best waste management practices.
    • The GIS Programmer will be responsible for developing scripts to be used in analysis of geospatial datasets and satellite imagery, generating information on waste management and recycling

    Responsibilities

    • Use Geographic Information Systems to map out areas to be serviced and yet to be serviced.
    • Develop Geospatial mobile and web applications as well as geoprocessing tools
    • Provide maintenance and support of the Database and Geospatial Servers.
    • Quality Assurance of applications
    • Develop tools for geospatial data analysis using open source software, including QGIS.
    • Design and implement data work-flow processes for web GIS applications.
    • Document and develop user manuals for all GIS/RS applications developed.
    • Develop, document, and deliver GIS training.

    Minimum Requirements

    • University Degree in Geographic Information System, Information management and Database Management, Mapping or any other intensive training / post graduate course on above-mentioned related fields.
    • At least 2 years of relevant experience in GIS application development and geospatial data analysis and 1 year of work experience in remote sensing data interpretation.
    • Demonstrated ability to use image interpretation software and GIS/RS packages (e.g. ArcGIS, QGIS)
    • Strong proficiency in programming languages, preferably Python, Javascript, and R. Other programming languages are an asset.
    • Experience with cloud-based geospatial platforms, especially Google Earth Engine.
    • Experience with Open Source GIS Software, Standards, SDKs and APIs like GeoServer, MapServer, OpenLayers, Leaflet
    • In-depth knowledge about GIS data formats like shapefiles, and geospatial exchange data formats such as KML, GML, GeoJSON.
    • Familiarity with the Software Development tools including Git and GitHub.
    • Experience with development of AI/ML is a strong asset.
    • Knowledge of waste management and recycling would be an advantage.
    • Ability to work under minimum supervision and effectively with people of different national and cultural backgrounds.

    Salary
    N200,000 - N450,000 / month.
