    Real Estate Manager - Jumia Services

    About the Role

    • The Real Estate Manager is responsible for implementing the company's internal real estate strategy (including a wide range of real estate solutions: searching for new premises, extending or terminating lease arrangements, or signing sublease agreements).

    Responsibilities

    • Assists business units and higher management with lease-related tasks including renewal, relocation, and termination.
    • Oversee the opening and shutting of new locations. 
    • Responsible for new site due diligence (including liaison with local authorities). 
    • Maintain a portfolio master sheet to keep track of changes in lease expirations, store performance, and rent payments.

    Strategic Account Manager

    Job Objectives

    • You will be responsible for managing the media activities of Jumia’s Strategic brand partners: the Joint Business Plan (JBP) Partners.
    • You will have a dozen JBP brands in your portfolio to animate monthly with an expectation of high-achieving campaigns.

    Money Laundering Reporting Officer

    Job Objective 

    • As Money Laundering Reporting Officer Nigeria you will be responsible for fulfilling all the regulatory obligations towards CBN and any other regulatory body.

    • Experience with and previous exposure to regulators and law enforcement agencies within Nigeria, preferably with USA regulatory obligations exposure

    Regional Risk Manager

    Job Objective

    • As Regional Risk Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance of robust enterprise risk management processes in Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Ghana, and Senegal.
    • This includes the implementation of strategies and processes which mitigate threats to the successful delivery of the organisation's corporate and business plans and desired outcomes.

    • Deliver regular risk analysis reports to the respective countries’ risk committees composed of the countries’ senior leadership, complete with actionable plans for avoidance or prevention of possible threats at all levels.
    • Lead implementation of programs designed to anticipate and to minimise threats to our strategy in the respective markets and offer expertise risk advisory to the business teams and work hand in hand in successfully implementing projects and initiatives.
    • Coordinate the countries’ risk champions forums in collaboration with other assurance functions with periodic risk reporting to the countries’ risk committees and support the implementation of the business continuity planning, strategies and testing to facilitate operational resilience.

    Required Qualifications and Skills

    • A strong Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or their equivalents
    • Membership in a relevant professional body and certification in Risk Management, Compliance or Business Continuity Management
    • Minimum of 5 years of risk management experience in a reputable organization with strong risk management skills.

    Head of Delivery Experience

    Objectives

    • The Head of Delivery Experience will engage in a fully end to end perspective into the business of Jumia E-commerce and Jumia Services, and will be in charge of running and improving Jumia’s full logistics set-up for delivery associates, and as well as enhancing the customer and vendor experience.

    Key Responsibilities
    Delivery Associates Development:

    • Do qualitative and quantitative research on the training needs of DA team
    • Develop and improve content material for driver training
    • Design and conduct trainings
    • Conduct role plays and focused group discussions with DAs
    • To prepare and evaluate the progress of DAs at an individual level

    Required Qualifications

    • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University; Degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain
    • 7 years minimum experience, preferably in a manufacturing, production or distribution environment with a strong focus on logistics or alternatives supply chain

    Job Objective
