    Senior Associate, Origination & Structuring

    Job Responsibilities

    • Conduct due diligence, site visits, financial, credit and risk analysis on prospective infrastructure related pipeline transactions as part of internal credit appraisal, in accordance with underwriting criteria and credit policies.
    • Review client business plans, financial models and prepare analyses and documentation to assess potential credit enhancement transactions against our Eligibility Criteria, risk appetite, sector limits, development goals and other factors.
    • Contribute to preparation of mandate letters, committee papers, term sheets and credit papers, with clear understanding of structural elements of each mandate, including key performance factors and risk mitigants.
    • Develop proprietary financial models and scenarios for internal transaction analysis and post-transaction monitoring of client performance.
    • Actively monitor data rooms, manage information flow, track correspondence with clients on ongoing engagements and maintain proper records for each project.
    • Perform desktop and market research on potential clients, competitors, industry trends, opportunities and threats.
    • Support new business pitches ensuring delivery with sound situations-based offerings, for both internal committee approvals and roll-out to the market.
    • Support the selection, engagement and monitoring of due diligence consultants which support our due diligence and credit appraisal process.
    • Provide any related administrative and logistics support functions required in the support of the business.
    • Expertly use MS Office Suite tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, delivering professional business/report writing and presentations for internal and external use.
    • Other job responsibilities as assigned by the Head, Origination and Structuring and Management.

    Qualification Requirement

    • Graduate degree qualification in Economics/Business/Accounting
    • MBA and relevant professional qualifications are an advantage
    • 6 – 8 years of credit/financial advisory and/or debt capital markets experience

    People Strategy Manager

    Job Responsibilities

    • The resource person will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
    • Support the Head, People in the implementation of all five (5) pillars of InfraCredit’s People Strategy, achieving progress in accordance with clear objectives and timelines.
    • Drive implementation of the Competency Management pillar by reviewing and updating existing framework and Skills Matrix, then extending the Skills Matrix and Career Management Plan across all function within InfraCredit.
    • Support the Performance Management pillar by working with the Head, People and COO to improve the standard bases of performance assessment, emphasising achievement of welldefined outcomes and adherence to the Company’s values
    • Support the Compensation & Benefits pillar by taking inputs from the Remuneration Survey, EXCO guidance and best practice to appropriately link Duties, Performance and Rewards.
    • Cultivate awareness and pride in InfraCredit’s Culture & Values by organising activities, preparing materials, establishing recognition programmes, etc. which ensure that the organisation and its personnel truly imbibe and reflect the firm’s core values and vision.
    • Support the Learning & Development pillar by embedding L&D plans in the Competency Framework for each functional area of InfraCredit, coordinating with the Learning & Development Manager and IT team to ensure implementable training plans are in place for individuals and departments.
    • Collaborate with the Knowledge Management team to develop Knowledge Exchange Framework in order to promote interactions, knowledge transfer and knowledge sharing under the Learning & Development pillar.
    • Report on organisation-wide review of standard operating procedures, documenting gaps and work with the Head of People, COO, Internal Control and the Learning & Development Manager to coordinate upgrades and well-tailored training programmes to improve staff efficiency and minimise operational risk.
    • Proactively leverage technology to improve efficiency and sustainability of all aspects of the People Strategy.
    • Provide detailed reports for Head People, EXCO and the Board on all areas of People Strategy progress.
    • The resource personnel will report directly to the Head, People and all activities will be coordinated with the Head, People to ensure alignment with corporate strategy.
    • All other tasks as delegated by the Head, People.

    Qualification Requirement

    • Minimum seven (7) years experience, with 3-5 years experience in a similar role
    • Graduate degree qualification from a reputable university
    • Relevant professional qualifications e.g. CIPM, CIPD, PHRi, SHRM; would be an added advantage
    • Strong alignment with InfraCredit’s core value system – Innovation, Passion, Integrity, Collaboration and Impact.
    • Knowledge of Nigeria labour laws and regulations as well as labour practices within the Nigerian financial services industry.
    • Experience in developing and implementing People strategy and talent management initiatives

    Corporate Finance Manager

    Job Responsibilities

    Investor Relations and Capital Raising Support

    • Lead investor relations, planning and coordinating periodic investor calls, including the agenda, list of invitees, required materials, team preparation, effective execution, etc.
    • With guidance from the CEO, coordinate the sourcing of prospective investors in line with Management and Board-approved targets for each financial year
    • Preparation of term sheets which guide structuring discussions with prospective capital providers (e.g. equity, debt, hybrid instruments, etc.), with accompanying negotiation support to Management.
    • Maintain robust virtual data rooms necessary to support capital raise efforts from different groups of targeted investors (e.g. local institutional investors, international development finance institutions, prospective risk-sharing partners, etc.)
    • Prepare reports required for periodic submission to exchanges and regulatory authorities, including supporting the CFO to review draft audited financial statements and related documentation before finalisation.
    • Track market trends and regulatory changes, identifying opportunities and threats pertinent to the organisation (e.g. evolving risk appetite of institutional investors, new reporting requirements, changes at key stakeholders, etc.).
    • Draft timely responses which satisfy stakeholder queries – Board, capital providers, risk-sharing partners, regulators, exchanges, rating agencies, etc.
    • Attend to any additional tasks assigned by the CEO as needed, ensuring they are completed within the specified timeframe.

    Financial Analysis

    • Preparation of presentation materials on corporate performance and material corporate decisions suitable for reporting to Management, the Board, existing and prospective capital providers.
    • Preparation and maintenance of the Company’s near-term and long-term financial forecasts – e.g. robust financial models, including equity valuation and projected returns for existing and prospective capital providers (e.g. earnings per share, dividends per share, etc.).
    • Provide real-time analysis (e.g. Finance Dashboard) to enable Management understand and analyse the impact of financial performance and/or corporate finance decisions on key stakeholders under various scenarios.
    • Identify and implement automation opportunities which improve operational efficiency and decision-making, including designing and building a more robust reporting system as necessary.

    Qualifications, experience, skills and abilities

    • At least 10 years of cognate experience in investment banking and capital market activities, including investor relations duties (e.g. for a company with institutional shareholders).
    • Relevant experience preparing financial reports for institutional investors, rating agencies, regulators, exchanges, etc.
    • Successful prior experience raising equity, debt and/or related instruments, including preparation of pitches, term sheets, conducting bookbuilding exercises, etc.
    • Strong capability in quantitative analysis for corporate finance purposes – e.g. financial modelling, scenario analysis, impact on projected earnings/dividends per share, etc.
    • Well-organised, with excellent project management skills which enable execution within required timelines.
    • Ability to design financial reporting templates in-line with international standard and ensure effective implementation and usage.
    • Keen attention to detail in all analyses, reports and presentations.
    • A degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, statistics or other related courses is required. Master’s degree is an added advantage.
    • Holding relevant professional certification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CFA, etc.) is desirable.
    • Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required.
    • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS reporting framework, including accounting for diverse financial instruments is a positive.
    • Knowledge of relevant rules, regulations and reporting requirements of local exchanges, the Securities & Exchange Commission, PENCOM, etc. is a plus
