    OFFALS-Pelletizing Manager

    To coordinate the efficient and effective running of the presses to produce good quality bulk bran pellet to meet or exceed the customers’ expectations and according to specified targets.

    THE JOB

    • Manage the receipt of raw materials to ensure efficient operation of the pellet press.
    • Monitor quality of all raw materials supplied and finished products to ensure that they meet the required quality.
    • Ensure efficient use of tools and other work materials.
    • Manage offals loading/pelletizing operations to ensure optimum performance.
    • Coordinate training of staff to improve effectiveness.
    • Ensure the maintenance of accurate documentation, report and record keeping.
    • Ensure good hygiene and manufacturing practices within the offal's loading/pelletizing.
    • Perform other project or ad-hoc duties as directed.

    THE PERSON MUST

    • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Good interpersonal skills and ability to relate effectively across all levels.
    • Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
    • Good knowledge of office applications.
    • Possess strong organizational ability.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 5 year's experience in a similar role.

    Assistant Shift Manager

    PURPOSE

    To provide oversight for all shift operations in the and ensure that movement of materials from one location to another is efficiently carried out.

    THE JOB

    • Ensure wheat transfer from silos to the mills to meet production requirement
    • Liaise with maintenance team, ABTL etc. to ensure prompt resolution of any operational breakdown.
    • Ensure reception of wheat/SBM from vessel/trucks
    • Ensure loading of pellet/SBM from silos to vessel
    • Guide and mentor the shift team with respect to safety, problem solving and troubleshooting.
    • Ensure inventory is stored appropriately to ensure safety and quality standards
    • Ensure all operational records and reports are correctly entered and submitted. in the areas of safety,
    • Oversees all departmental operations in the night, weekends and public holidays by implementing instructions laid down.
    • Perform other project or ad-hoc duties as directed

    Quality Control Assistant Premier Feed Mills

    The Quality Control Assistant supports the production team by ensuring that products meet established quality standards. This role involves daily inspection of materials and nearly finished goods, monitoring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

    THE JOB

    • Analyze samples of nearly finished products daily to confirm adherence to durability, safety, and specification standards before final production.
    • Conduct routine testing and evaluation of materials, components, and environmental factors used during production to verify quality.
    • Identify and troubleshoot customer complaints or internal issues related to product quality by reviewing the entire production process.
    • Maintain accurate records of quality checks, test results, and findings in designated logs and quality control systems.
    • Verify that all products and processes meet relevant local and industry-specific regulatory standards at all production stages.
    • Periodically review and recommend updates to quality control procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce production disruptions.

    THE PERSON MUST

    • Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Be adaptable and proactive in suggesting process improvements to enhance efficiency.
    • Possess teamwork and interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrate good knowledge of quality assurance methods, tools, and industry standards.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of two years' experience Preferably in a manufacturing setting.
