PURPOSE

To oversee the packing machine operations and ensure compliance with quality specifications while meeting and achieving the set targets for output in line with the organisation’s goals and objectives.

THE JOB

• Check packing machine to examine the parameters to ensure there is no deviation from set standards and specifications.
• Ensure availability of packing materials in the right quantity, quality and at the right time to avoid any delay in packing operations.
• Ensure the packing machine is kept clean at all times in compliance with the safety, health and environment standards.
• Monitor the operation of the packing machine to identity any unusual sound or variation and notify the maintenance team to avoid any breakdown or downtime.
• Monitor the packaging of products to identify any spotted or defective materials and notify the stripper man to ensure quality in the final output.
• Supervise the activities of the packers to encourage them and motivate them to meet the assigned targets and objectives for the packing machine team.

THE PERSON MUST

• Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Have good knowledge of packing machinery and production line operations.
• Have strong leadership and team supervision skills to manage and motivate packers.
• Have good knowledge of quality control standards for packaging operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
• OND in engineering or any science related discipline.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of two year's experience in a similar role.

To assist the Assistant Accountant by ensuring prompt processing of cash and necessary data for the purpose of reporting the true and fair view of the company’s financial position and management decision.

THE JOB

• Daily inventory reconciliation for all Finished Goods and Packaging and Raw Materials.
• Prompt processing of documents for intercompany transactions.
• Examine cash payment vouchers to ensure that the appropriate signatories have approved.
• Daily cash and imprest payments and reports.
• Ensure compliance with the I.O.U limit sent by the management.
• Ensure receipts to customers (for scrap sales) upon confirmation of cheque payments made in the bank for the purchase of products from Iganmu.

THE PERSON MUST

• Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Have strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial records.
• Have strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Have good knowledge of cash handling, imprest reporting, and voucher examination.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
• OND in accounting/Business Admin.

EXPERIENCE

To carry out mechanical maintenance activities in the plant with a view to keep the machineries running and perform at optimum capacity.

THE JOB

• Repair production machines and equipment in the entire noodles plant and any other area/task that mighty be assigned to you by the superior officer.
• Work efficiently and effectively to Minimize downtime during repairs.
• Report any malfunction or damage items to the superior.
• Keep proper record of time taken for job completion, spare parts replaced and report observations in the logbook and the work order.
• Find root cause of every problem to prevent repetition.
• Carry out Planned preventive maintenance according to schedule using checklist/work order.
• Take responsibility for personal safety and that of others when carrying out any assignment.
• Use corrects personal protective equipment (PPE) and obey all safety rules as it affects every task to be done from time to time.

THE PERSON MUST

• Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Have good diagnostic skills to identify root causes and prevent recurrence of machine faults.
• Have strong mechanical and technical skills in troubleshooting and repairing production equipment.
• Have ability to carry out preventive maintenance using checklists and work orders.

To Carry out electrical maintenance activities in the plant with a view to keeping the plant running at optimum capacity.

THE JOB

• Repair any fault or damage components of the machines such as production, packaging, warehouse, raw material silo, Boiler, WTP.
• Carry out all kinds of maintenance strictly with the use of checklist/Machine drawing.
• Monitor logbook to check job repairs done as well as pending jobs, to follow up and ensure prompt resolution.
• Carry out any job allocated to ensure quick response to maintenance request from user department.
• Carryout Why-Why analysis on repeated problems and troubleshoot problems to aid effective maintenance.
• Prepare report on work done for reference purpose, fill all the job order correctly, and return them to SAM.

THE PERSON MUST

• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Have strong knowledge of electrical systems and industrial machinery.
• Have ability to read and interpret machine drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
• Have excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for identifying and resolving faults.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings/Technical certification.

To supervise the loading of products in the assigned bay to ensure that the right quality of products in the right quantity is dispatched efficiently to the customer to achieve customer satisfaction and meet organisational goals and objectives.

THE JOB

• Supervise the loading activity carried out within the assigned bay to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Motivate and monitor the loaders to optimize loading time and achieve the set target for  loading per day.
• Receive truck order from the vehicle movement supervisor and communicate the loading order schedule to the loaders and the forklift driver to ensure accuracy in stock and quantity of products loaded.
• Collect scale-in docket from the truck driver to verify the tier weight, the vehicle number and the confirm the date of the weighing before commencing loading.
• Ensure that spotted goods are not included in the stock of goods being loaded to avoid customer complaints and return of goods.
• Ensure proper arrangement of palette after loading has been completed to make them available for subsequent use and maintain a clean loading area.
• Assist the warehouse supervisor in stocktaking and stacking of products and carry out other assigned duties.

THE PERSON MUST

• Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy in verifying stock and loading information.
• Have basic inventory management knowledge, including stocktaking and product stacking.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings/Technical qualification.

THE JOB

• Monitor logbook to check job repairs done as well as pending jobs, to follow up and ensure prompt resolution.
• Allocate jobs to maintenance team to ensure quick response to maintenance request from user department.
• Carry out planned preventive measures within the scheduled time.
• Prepare report on work done for reference purpose.
• Observe and comply with all occupational Health and Safety procedures and meet statutory electrical codes.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical installation, wiring, components, and industrial panels equipment and machinery deployed for milling and packaging in Flour Operations, to the correct specifications and standards.
• Carry out machine inspection tasks and update all necessary reports.
• Attend to all reported faults promptly to find solutions to reduce production downtime.
• Carry out housekeeping functions to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.

THE PERSON MUST

• Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Have strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and controls.
• Have excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Have good report writing skills and ability to maintain accurate maintenance records.

QUALIFICATIONS
