    Diction Teacher

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging diction lessons that address various aspects of speech, including pronunciation, enunciation, and articulation.
    • Assess students' speaking abilities and develop individualized plans to address areas for improvement.
    • Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
    • Foster a supportive and positive learning environment that encourages students to practice and refine their speaking skills.
    • Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their diction and confidence in speaking.
    • Organize and participate in activities that promote effective communication, such as debates, public speaking events, and drama performances.
    • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate diction training across the curriculum.
    • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
    • Stay updated with best practices in speech and communication training.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Education, Communication, or a related field.
    • Experience teaching diction, speech, or a related subject in an educational setting.
    • Strong knowledge of phonetics, pronunciation, and speech mechanisms.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to inspire and motivate students to improve their speaking skills.
    • Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
    • Commitment to continuous professional development.

    English Language / Literacy Teacher

    Job Description

    • To lead the department to ensure students at all levels achieve in line with high expectations
    • To ensure the effective use of resources in the department
    • Direct and supervise the work of colleagues in the department.
    • To lead the development and implementation of policies and practices in line with School policies.
    • To ensure that thorough analysis of public and mock examinations and progress checks.
    • To prepare the student for examinations such as the entrance exams.
    • To ensure that lessons have clearly communicated learning objectives against which students can measure their progress.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
    • Not less than 3years experience in which 4 years are in a similar position (In language Schools) is a MUST.
    • Great knowledge of the British curriculum.
    • Have a teaching experience in a British school
    • Should be able to prepare primary students for external examinations such as (Common Entrance, Loyola Jesuit Exam and other top exams.

    National Value Educator (NVE) Officer

    Job Description

    • Plan and prepare well-structured, clearly presented lessons appropriate to the abilities of all students and the syllabus being taught.
    • Keeping meticulous records of student attendance, participation, homework, tests, and examination scores.
    • Make sure that the classroom is a stimulating environment that facilitates learning.
    • Setting up tests, assignments, and grading students
    • Generate enthusiasm for the subject being taught and inspire all students to work to their potential.
    • Promote high standards of behaviour by encouraging a positive, proactive approach to study and building productive relationships with students.
    • Deliver engaging, coherent, and motivating lessons to students across varying classes.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc. /B.Sc. Ed. / PGDE in Social Studies, Sociology, Political Science, and Public Administration.
    • Must have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
    • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of the subject area and skills in delivering lessons to students.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills.
