    Factory Efficiency Engineer

    Job Summary

    Ensure efficient and effective Operations, maintenance and improvement of utility such water, electricity and other essential services required to sustain operations of the Factory.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Construction/Maintenance of Transmission lines.
    • Drawing of layout for installation and wiring of Factory premises.
    • Installations, repairs and maintenances of Air conditioners and Refrigerators.
    • Monitoring and managing the operation of utility systems in the Factory.
    • Involve in the designing and developing of utility infrastructure projects.
    • Assist the Chief Utility Engineer with daily supervision of the Section.
    • Collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure effective implementation of projects.
    • Monitoring and managing the operation of utility systems.
    • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and government regulations.

    Head of Boiler & Power Plant DSR Numan

    Job Summary

    Responsible for leading the boiler and powerhouse team, ensuring the proper functioning of the systems, implementing preventative maintenance schedules, and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. This role plays a crucial part in minimizing downtime and optimizing boiler and powerhouse performance.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Accountable for the trouble-free operation of all boilers and Powerhouse equipment by adopting the Preventive /predictive maintenance of the equipment in the Power Plant.
    • Maintaining & trouble shooting of all types of equipment of the plant under his section and achieving the Power Generation as per the target by adopting and initiate necessary action and corrective measures.
    • Accountable for the maintaining and monitoring the record of miscarriages and taking corrective actions. Maintains the history cards of the equipment in the sections entrusted and keeps the track of maintenance activities attended.
    • Plans & executes the jobs informed by the operation team in the sections entrusted for smooth operation of the plant.
    • Shall report to the chief executive any events of Equipment’s complications.
    • Ensuring the standby equipment availability all time and maintaining the critical spares for the equipment in respective area.
    • Accountable for the adoption of SOP during operation & maintenance.
    • Synchronize with Mainly process dept along with Sugar Mill & Process engineers for charming operation.
    • Execute Servicing and maintenance of the boiler & Powerhouse equipment during off cop period.
    • Prepares the annual expenditure budget for the sections and analyze the variance (Budget Vs Actual) & imitate necessary effective control system.
    • The training needs to be identified of his subordinates and draw necessary schedule to import the training at regular intervals.
    • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

    Educational Qualification and Work Experience

    • Shall hold the minimum of B-Tech/BE/BSc / HND in Mechanical Engineering or any related Engineering.
    • Shall hold Certificate on Boiler Operating
    • COREN, NSE or Any related professional qualification is an added advantage.
    • A minimum of 12- 15-year experience in any boiler and Powerhouse. Bagasse Based Power plant experience will an added advantage.
    • Hands on experience in Travelling Grate Boiler with Bagasse as Fuel. Pressure rating of the Boiler shall be Minimum 87 Bar.
    • Experience in Back Pressure & Condensing Turbines. Experience in Fuel / Ash Handling System. Shall have well versed with Boiler / Turbine DCS Automation Operation.
    • Basic computer skill (MS word, excel & power point).

    Agriculture Research & Development Manager

    Job Summary

    Managing the activities, operations and staff of the R&D section of the department through Conduct field experiments and deliver research results associated with weed management and related agronomic practices in sugarcane.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    Research and Development

    • Research on sugarcane varieties to identify improved varieties.
    • Multiplication of improved varieties for commercial cultivation.
    • Research on inputs to test their quality.
    • Maintaining varietal collection (Germplasm) for future study.

    Research on soil, water and plant  

    • Soil sampling for analysis.
    • Analyzing the soil for its nutrient content for fertilizer recommendation.
    • Identifying problems of the soil and arriving remedial measures.
    • Analyzing irrigation water for its standard parameters.
    • Plant sampling and analysis for its nutrient content.
    • Monitor field agronomic practices and ensure compliance with the field standard procedures.
    • Provide technical support to the Agricultural team to facilitate significant improvement in yield.

    Educational Qualification and Work Experience

    • Minimum of HND/ B.Sc. in Agricultural related courses.
    • Any relevant certification will be an added advantage.
    • Have extensive experience in large-scale Agricultural Estate R&D including demonstrable experience with Sugar cane farming for more than 10 years. Mastering the latest management system of Agricultural R&D.
