Planning Manager DSR Numan at Dangote

Oversees the strategic planning process within the company, develop and implement plans to achieve business objectives. Work with all the departments within the company to analyze market trends, manage resources, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Strategic planning: - Developing and implementing effective strategies to achieve company goals.
• Resource Management: - Allocating resources efficiently across different department and projects.
• Project Management: - Ensuring projects are completed on time within budget and meet quality standard.
• Data Analysis and Forecasting: - Analyzing Market trends, assessing risk, and developing forecast to support planning decision.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: - Working with various departments, including sales, marketing and finance to align goals and ensure effective planning.
• Process Improvement: - Continuously evaluating and improving planning processes to enhance organizational effectiveness.
• Budget Management: - Developing and managing project budgets, ensuring resources are used effectively.
• Production Planning: - Developing and managing production schedules, considering demand, supply chain, capacity, and other constraints. 
• Material Requirement Planning (MRP):- Creating and maintaining MRP plans, establishing safety stock levels, and implementing.
• Capacity Management:- Planning and managing production capacity to meet demand.

Educational Qualification and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
• Any professional certification would be an added advantage.
• Minimum of10 years of experience in planning or project management.
