Job Summary

In this role, the Specialist will:
- Facilitate the Ibese decarbonisation roadmap, including identifying and evaluating technologies and processes to reduce carbon emissions in the cement value chain of Ibese plant.
- Align and build the capacity of data and technical teams for decarbonisation, including Transport and supply chain, to deliver on decarbonisation actions within short timelines.

- At least 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, environmental sustainability, or a related field. and 2+ years’ experience in GHG accounting.
- Proven experience in Carbon accounting, decarbonisation experience using global standards (GHG Protocol Corporate Standard, Scope 2 and Scope 3 guidance or similar), carbon management, or energy efficiency initiatives within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Expertise in decarbonization technologies, such as alternative fuels and low-carbon cement alternatives,
