    Treasury Marketing Officer

    Reports to: Treasury Manager
    Functional links: Financial Controller

    Overview

    • The candidate for this position will be responsible for identifying opportunities and assisting in the marketing and sales of treasury management products while participating in outside business development and driving portfolio growth.
    • The candidate will prepare proposals to prospects as well as accompany lenders on sales presentations.
    • Other tasks include communicating with customers and staff to provide support and to resolve customer issues.
    • Also responsible for effectively selling the Bank's depository and treasury management services to existing and prospective clients, either in conjunction with Relationship Managers or on an individual basis, achieving deposit and fee income goals and solidifying customer retention.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Marketing Treasury products to clients with various degree of diversity to match client’s goals and risk tolerance.
    • Develop and expand the customer base and increase the Treasury Marketing & Sales volume by presenting strategies/ideas tailored to all or specific customer needs.
    • Increase market share and generate profit.
    • Ensure timely and accurate execution of FX, Money Market, Metals or any other related activities.
    • Ensure an effective control on limits, policies and procedures in dealing with clients.
    • Assist Treasury FX & MM and Treasury Marketing & Sales in the supervision and control of the client’s FX activities to contain any lapses and ensure accuracy.
    • Assist and advise customers in developing and controlling FX positions.
    • Develop objectives and action plans to achieve the Bank’s budgeted volume and earning in the area of Treasury marketing.
    • Train assigned individuals in the techniques of Treasury marketing.
    • Dedicate extra efforts and contributions in any special project as/when required.
    • Focus on growth of new client relationships and expansion of existing relationships by identifying and cross selling our global treasury solutions while building a strong sales pipeline.
    • Accountable for responsible revenue growth, profitability, client planning, client calling, portfolio development, pricing strategy, and proposal/presentation development/delivery within the confines of a dedicated client portfolio.
    • Maintain a strong client focus, treasury industry expertise, client subsector expertise and a broad understanding of bank structure and the operational aspects of global cash management products and services
    • Will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and appropriate financial acumen
    • Must also be motivated to maintain a consistent level of goal achievement and be willing to challenge themselves with performance metrics
    • Lead, coach, develop Treasury Sales Analyst in day to day support of client deliverable
    • Will be a digital ambassador driving mobile, digital and real time payments adoption
    • Manage and lead strategic dialogues around key client centric issues, leveraging best practices, peer benchmarking, industry data analytics, and solutioning positioning.
    • Maintain regular client interactions with on-site or virtual meetings, industry conferences, roundtables and client events.

    Requirements and Skills

    • University Degree in a Business-related field, Economics, Finance. An advanced Degree will be an added advantage.
    • 3 - 4 years related experience
    • High level of communication skills required.
    • Strong business orientation with ability to make correct decisions.
    • Strong customer service skills and sensitivity to customer’s needs.
    • Ability to structure and sell Treasury products.

    Head SME Manager

    Reports to: Operation Expert

    Overview

    • The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the strategic agenda for SME Banking Department through balance sheet growth, Customer Acquisition, Customer retention, profit & loss targets in order to support achievement of overall business strategy; in a cost effective and high return manner.
    • The job holder will be involved in product development oversight aimed at sustaining the Bank’s competitive position within SME businesses.
    • Coverage will be strictly loans and advances.

    Key Responsibilities

    • The Chief's mission is to drive SME credit (Loans &; Advances) ranging from 4 million to 50 million Nigeria Naira across Nigeria.
    • To achieve and develop, lead the implementation of the SME Segment strategy in line with the overall Retail Banking Strategy; to ensure achievement of profitability targets through revenue maximization and prudent cost management.
    • To drive sustainable growth and acquisition of new customers for the SME Banking through the creation, development and maintenance of high quality advisory relationships.
    • To build and maintain productive and strategic relations with customers / suppliers / line manager /stakeholders to drive the development and delivery of business solutions and revenue growth for the SME Segment.
    • To drive customer-led propositions for the SME Banking Segment by developing a pipelineof value adding customer solutions to include customer experience, products, and service offers.
    • To ensure strong cross- selling of existing and new SME loan products to existing and new clients; and in this process, maintain effective liaison with all relevant business units in the Bank.
    • Championing the delivery of consistent, seamless and trusted customer service to ensure customer retention and loyalty.
    • Facilitate training programs to enhance product knowledge to the Retail Banking teams, branch staff and sales teams on SME Banking Products.
    • Maintains a detailed and current understanding of the industry; (at SME Banking, current market structures; regulatory requirements and issues) to ensure that opportunities are realized and the risks mitigated.
    • Ensuring timely submission of quality credit proposals in conformity with the Credit Policy guidelines and requirements whilst maintaining the quality of the SME portfolio within the stipulated NonPerforming Loans (NPL) and Portfolio at Risk (PAR) parameters.
    • Ensure compliance to the Bank’s policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
    • Lead, motivate, and continuously develop a credible high performing SME team.
    • To meet a monthly objective of ₦250,000,000.00 i.e Two hundred and fifty Million naira loan disbursement per month.

    Skills & Experience

    • University Degree in a Business-related field. An advanced Degree will be an added advantage.
    • Professional Product Development or Project Management Qualification.
    • Minimum of 8 years general banking experience with at least 5 years’ experience in SME Sector 3 years of which must have been in a leadership position.
    • Must have hands on experience in Credit Analysis &; Administration, Sales, Relationship Management,
    • Customer Service, commercial and product development functions of a commercial bank at managerial level.
    • Demonstrated consistent high performance in role(s) held in the last three years.
    • A thorough knowledge of Small Medium Enterprise (SME) Products, Retail Banking products
    • and services, and extensive Banking Industry knowledge.
    • Excellent interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to network, generate new business and develop strong business relations.
    • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated competencies in chioning high performance management.
    • Membership of a Marketing professional body will be desirable.
    • A good understanding of risk, credit policies and procedures.
    • Excellent planning, Organization, problem solving and analytical skills.

    Protocol Officer

    Reports to: Expansion, and Admin Manager
    Functional Link: Human Resource

    Overview

    • The position holder is responsible for managing routine administrative and support services for the smooth running of the office.
    • The role holder will provide excellent logistics and protocol services for the bank and ensure that resources are efficiently optimized and administrative operational costs are reduced.

    Responsibilities
    They include but are not limited the following:

    • Assist in processing visas for employees
    • Facilitate residence permits for our expatriates
    • Ticketing
    • Travel insurance
    • Implement and manage an effective system for transport and logistics.
    • Ensure efficient use of drivers and pool vehicles. Responsible for arranging
    • Airport pick-ups, processing of vehicle papers, toll gate, overtime, and per diem.
    • Keeping and updating required records and reports.
    • Suggest new vendors while managing existing relationships with service providers; ensure uninterrupted services delivery and value for money (e.g. Courier agencies; Car service and rental stations, etc).
    • Responsible for the supervision of drivers and any other staff that may be assigned the unit.
    • Develop and implement proposals for service improvement. Track car mileage and monitoring costs (keep vehicle maintenance log).
    • Provide periodic budget spending reports and other reports on request.
    • Responsible for ensuring all the school’s vehicles are in good working condition.
    • Monitor the activities of the mailing unit to ensure full compliance with procedures and processes.
    • Provide liaison for processing of visas and travel documents for staff on officialtrips.
    • Responsible for the processing of flight tickets in line with policy.
    • Responsible for processing payments and follow-up with Accounts on all payments.
    • Any other relevant duty that will be assigned by the line manager from time to time.

    Required Profile

    • Minimum of a University Degree in Logistics or its equivalent in any related field
    • Professional certification in a related field will be an added advantage.
    • Experience: 3 - 5 years administrative / logistics experience in managing service providers and travel desks will be an advantage Competencies
