    People Advisor

    Purpose of the Job

    • To provide agile, high-quality shared services, HR administrative support for business, primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding shared services and employee life-cycle transaction.
    • To Provide professional HR support to assigned business units for the purposes of achieving the organization's goals and objectives.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Employee Lifecycle Management: Provide professional and efficient HR support throughout the employee lifecycle—from onboarding to offboarding—including managing contract extensions, promotions, transfers, resignations, and exits.
    •  Recruitment & Onboarding: Facilitate new hire orientations to ensure a seamless and engaging onboarding experience.
    • Employee Relations & Compliance: Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
    • Performance & Development: Support the development and implementation of performance management, employee engagement, and talent development initiatives.

    Administrative Support: 

    • HR Projects: Assist in the execution of HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall organizational effectiveness.
    • Welfare Management: Lead the administration and continuous improvement of employee benefits programs.
    • HRIS & Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records across all HR information platforms.
    • Reporting & Data Analysis: Generate timely and accurate HR reports for management, audit reviews, and regulatory compliance.
    • Policy Development, Compliance & Implementation: Develop, review, and update HR policies in line with statutory requirements and industry best practices.
    • Compensation & Benefits Administration: Support payroll processing & assist in the administration of employee benefits and compensation programs.
    • Design & Implement Workflows: Develop and implement automated processes for onboarding, offboarding, benefits enrolment, performance reviews, and payroll management.

    Oiler

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a competent and safety-conscious Oiler to join our Team.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance, repair, and operation of engine room equipment, ensuring safety, environmental compliance, and operational efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities
    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Maintaining engine room watches as assigned.
    • Assisting with engine room cleaning, repairs, and routine maintenance activities.
    • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with approved procedures.
    • Supporting machinery operation and ensuring equipment is maintained in good working condition.
    • Following Permit to Work (PTW) procedures for all applicable tasks.
    • Complying with machinery isolation and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
    • Identifying and reporting unsafe conditions, equipment defects, and environmental hazards.
    • Assisting in pollution prevention activities and responding appropriately to spills or leaks.
    • Participating actively in emergency response drills and carrying out assigned emergency duties.
    • Ensuring all work is performed safely and in compliance with company HSE policies.

    Requirements
    Applicants should possess:

    • Experience working as an Oiler, Motorman, Engine Rating, or similar marine engineering position.
    • Valid STCW Engine Room Watch Rating Certificate (Regulation III/4) or equivalent certification.
    • Good knowledge of marine engine room operations and maintenance.
    • Understanding of Permit to Work (PTW), Risk Assessment, and machinery isolation procedures.
    • Familiarity with hydraulic systems, pumps, diesel engines, and auxiliary machinery.
    • Experience with safety and environmental management systems is an added advantage.

    Required Competencies:

    • Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance.
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to work effectively under supervision and in a multicultural environment.
    • High level of discipline, reliability, and attention to detail.
    • Ability to identify hazards and respond appropriately during emergencies.
    • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with maintenance reporting systems.
