    Internal Services Officer

    DESCRIPTION

    ESTATE SERVICES MANAGEMENT:

    • Estimate the District needs of stationeries/small office equipment and materials and pro-actively plan and process re-stocking of materials.
    • Treats requests for stationeries supply and monitors the monthly requested items for excesses to discourage creation of “satellite stores” in individual departments.
    • Receives ordered stationeries and materials from vendors. Inspects to confirm that quality and quantity are as specified in Purchase Order. Recommend for rejection any sub-standard materials.
    • Obtains feedback from users for any new brand of item introduced to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Maintains accurate reporting using stock cards for items and database of requests for trend analysis and audits.
    • Administers the meeting resources in an efficient manner by always consulting the supposed user to ensure efficient usage and ensure there are no clashes and mix-ups in the schedule sheet.
    • Distributes mails from other affiliate through SAGA, other courier houses and mails from all other locations.
    • Efficient distribution of incoming mails within the office base and delivery of the outgoing mails including those going overseas.
    • Supervises and monitors stock and distribution of office & household furniture/ equipment and appliances
    • Maintains accurate and up to date records of all offices & household furniture/equipment and appliances in offices and ensure proper accountability.
    • Supervises the relocation and movement of staff from one office to another as programmed.
    • Receives calls/mails from GS Helpdesk in respect to faults or requests and treats same with dispatch.
    • Supervises satellite TV installations, renewals and repairs in the offices.
    • Responds to routine and emergency situations within the offices.
    • Assist in office key management in the main base.
    • Ensure proper cleaning of the internal space of office buildings in the main base.
    • Any other ad hoc duty that may be assigned by the hierarchy.

    COMPLEXITY & PROBLEM SOLVING:

    ADMINISTRATION:

    • Maintains accurate reporting system of all items and database of requests for trend analysis and audits.
    • Maintains accurate and up to date records of all offices & household furniture/equipment and appliances in the offices and ensure proper accountability.
    • Keep adequate records of monthly proforma invoices of the individual contractors.
    • Initiate payment process by raising an E-JPC request to every invoice received.
    • Follow up and monitor the expiration of every contract for renewal processes.

    ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Providing adequate stock and standard of frequently used stationery materials to end-user departments for their secretarial duties.
    • Providing meeting room as required for scheduled and unscheduled meetings of the various departments to their satisfaction.
    • Avoiding mix-up of meeting booking schedules that could lead to embarrassment for the division and company, constant contact with users made before the meeting time.
    • Mail distributions of Incoming and Outgoing from all locations are done with records for tracking purposes and or evidence of delivery, to measure efficiency and avoid missing mails.
    • Provide prompt office movement and hall arrangements for events as required and requested.
    • Provides routine checks on all DSTV decoder and satellite TV systems. To avoid malfunctions/maintenance issues
    • Provide room for spare keys, monitor usage and make same available for emergencies.

    JOB REQUIREMENT

    • BSC/HND in Social or Management Sciences or BA, Humanities
    • Diligence and honesty are a must-have.
    • Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft packages especially Excel
    • Ability to draw up and put together Reporting tools
    • Ability to work under pressure and multitask
    • 5 – 8 years relevant working experience in similar job and largescale business environment.

    Pre-Com / Commissioning Engineer

    DESCRIPTION

    The job holder will be required to:

    • Be the focal point involved in the definition and preparation of the precom & commissioning activities related to the SPS/UFR/Topsides facilities.
    • Finalize the Exhibits SPS/UFR/Topsides facilities contracts to ensure the Precom & Commissioning requirements are captured
    • Ensure consistency of all Precom & Commissioning deliverables incorporated in the CFT’s,
    • Identify and address all interface issues with other entities for all systems precom & commissioning activities.
    • Ensure that the SPS/UFR/Topsides facilities contractors perform all pre-commissioning and commissioning
    • in strict accordance with the OPERCOM methodology.
    • Ensure that the ICAPS database is populated correctly, and that the database provides an accurate reporting tool for all pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
    • Development of the Precom & Commissioning Methods and Strategies
    • Ensure SPS/UFR/Topsides facilities team inspectors are fully briefed on the application of the OPERCOM scope of testing and recording.
    • Ensure coherence between OPERCOM testing requirements and the SPS/UFR/Topsides facilities contractors
    • inspection and testing procedures/plan (ITP). Approve any use of Contractor ITP in preference to OPERCOM/ICAPS requirements.
    • Provision of manpower estimates and mobilization schedule for pre-com and commissioning activities at SPS/UFR/Topsides facilities managed sites.
    • Manage the preparation of pre-commissioning/commissioning procedures and reporting tools (including technical database, planning, punch list control).
    • Ensure satisfactory definition of all SPS/UFR/Topsides facilities systems pre-commissioning and commissioning scope and boundary limits within the sub-systems.
    • Follow up and review the contractor’s preparation for pre-commissioning and commissioning scope for both onshore and offshore related to all SPS/UFR/Topsides facilities systems equipment.
    • Approve the contractors system commissioning procedures and Operational Test Procedures (OTPs) for all SPS/UFR/Topsides facilities systems.
    • Follow up the precom & commissioning punch list register. Approve the contractor’s punch list activities and control of punch list items including sign-off of punch list items.
    • Produce the pre-commissioning and commissioning dossiers ensuring that all SPS/UFR/Topsides facilities contractor OTPs and other documentation are included. Ensure all OPERCOM requirements are met.
    • Follow up the contractor’s FAT, EFAT, mechanical completion tests, system integration tests, shallow water tests, cool down tests, vessel/rig receipt checks and pre-deployment checks. Ensure all OPERCOM
    • documentation is satisfactorily completed and that ICAPS is updated.
    • Develop a strategy in order to maximize onshore commissioning and minimize lost time due to interfaces, along with a commissioning sequence
    • Prepare and supervise the execution of SPS/UFR/Topsides facilities systems commissioning to maximize productivity, respect the schedule, minimize cost and achieve smooth hand over.
    • Supervise and monitor the preparation and the realization of the testing activities by the Contractor(s)
    • Ensure that the pre-commissioning schedule is implemented in line with commissioning planning and priorities
    • Check progress and ensure correct reporting of the commissioning activities
    • Provide the necessary assistance to the interface contractors SPS/UFR/Topsides facilities during their precommissioning and commissioning activities both in the various testing sites and offshore at the FPSO site.
    • Ensure that preservation for all SPS/UFR/Topsides facilities systems is performed as per the procedures
    • Ensure the contractors adherence to the scope of the contract with respect to the hand-over stages and the transfer of care and custody of the elements of the SPS/UFR/Topsides facilities.

    HSE OBJECTIVES

    • Participate in HAZIDS, HAZOPS, Project Technical Reviews, HSE Audits as required, and ensure
    • corrective actions are defined, implemented and monitored for Field Operations related action points.
    • Participate in the selection of HSE training for Field Operations personnel.
    • Report anomalies and incidents promptly
    • Ensure the implementation of HSE Management System on Field operations activities.
    • Participate in Project HSE Committee meetings.
    • To fully comply with office security, health and safety instructions.
    • To stay vigilant and maintain continuous awareness of hazards and surroundings.
    • To report to Management on any issue they may face or observe and propose way of improvement.
    • To also take care of colleagues safety and behavior without hesitating to intervene as much as necessary.
    • To give his/her own input and making sure the workplace is safe (obviously clean and tidy).

    • To fully comply with Security rules about Travelling in Nigeria.

    JOB REQUIREMENT

    • Education: B. Eng in Engineering (or equivalent).
    • Professional experience: 10+ years in process engineering studies, including operations exposure.
    • Skills required: Knowledge of OPERCOM methodology and ICAPS software. Particularly related to subsea systems.
    • Language: Fluent English, French an advantage
