    Senior Officer, Global Fund Malaria State Focal Person

    Job Profile:

    Reporting to the Territorial Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of all SFH Malaria supply chain and social mobilisation activities in the State. Primary duties include management and monitoring of private sector health facilities and providers. working with CSOs' and oversight of Sub-recipients Consultants' progress towards achieving programme deliverables. S/He will be responsible for management of health commodity distribution and monitoring the quality of outputs. ensuring the fiscal integrity of all transactions and operations activities. S/He will also be responsible for quality assuring all training, and monitoring and evaluation of malaria intervention programmes within the slate. S/He will also be required to strengthen the RBM partnership in the state and will be the liaison of SFH to the public sector aspect of the malaria control programme.

    Qualifications/Experience:

    • Minimum Academic/Professional Qualifications required for the position:
    • Must possess a first degree in any Health/Behavioural/Social sciences or related field.
    • Must possess a minimum three (3) years post NYSC working experience in all NGO at the field level.
    • Must possess sound experience in commodity distribution and some community mobilisation
    • Must possess a sound ability to work with Microsoft Office - MS Word. Excel and Power Point.
    • Must be excellent at report writing, and possess good M&E skills.
    • Must possess experience in donor funded projects.

    Senior Monitoring & Evaluation Officers

    Job Profile

    • Reporting to the Territorial Manager at the State level and Manager M&E at the HQ, the desired candidates will ensure that routine tracking, data collection and documentation are utilized to showcase progress on success of project indicators and interventions.
    • S/He will ensure that data collected from state level implementation are collated and entered expeditiously into the web-based DHIS; and summaries included in all field activities quarterly report submissions.
    • S/He will also, oversee the tracking, analysis and reporting of data on the various components of the SFH territorial programmes.
    • The successful candidate will equally track project performance indicator data related to relevant states, and disseminate M&E data and information regularly to stakeholders.
    • S/He will be required to build the capacity of SFH project partner organisations, CSOs/CBOs and other stakeholders to implement M&E.
    • S/He will take the lead in implementing SFH and National surveys in the States.
    • S/He must be able to analyse datasets to provide data to inform programme decisions.

    Qualifications/Experience

    • Must possess a first degree in Sciences/Medical/Behavioural/Social Sciences or its equivalent in a relevant field.
    • Must have minimum of 3 years experience in implementing monitoring and evaluation of health and related programmes.
    • Must have considerable expertise in mixed-methods (qualitative and quantitative) M&E and research.
    • S/He must possess ability to analyse and interpret both quantitative and qualitative data to inform programming.
    • Must have intermediate knowledge of SPSS or STATA or Epi Info/CS Pro.
    • Knowledge of DHIS, MS-Access or other compatible database software will be of added advantage.
    • Experience with conducting monitoring visits utilising checklist and other tools, including ability to develop M&E tools as needed and experience with government partners, will be important to this position.

    DHIS Officer

    Job Profile

    • Reporting to the Manager Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) at the Head Office, the desired candidate will ensure proper management of data on the District Health Information System (DHIS) software.
    • S/He will ensure that data collected from state level implementation are collated and entered expeditiously in the webbased DHIS and ready for use for program planning.
    • The successful candidate will provide technical support to users of DHIS2 at all levels and will modify and update the DHIS2 modules in accordance with program requirement and specification.

    Qualifications/Experience

    • Must possess a first degree in statistics/Sciences/Medical/Behavioural/Demography/Social Sciences or
      its equivalent in a relevant field.
    • Must have minimum of one (1) year experience in the use of DHIS 1.4 and 2.0.
    • Must have intermediate expertise in mixed-methods (qualitative and quantitative) M&E and research.
    • S/He must possess ability to analyse and interpret both quantitative and qualitative data to inform
      programming.
    • Knowledge of SPSS or STATA or Epi Info/CS Pro or MS-Access or other compatible database software

    Assistant Manager, Finance & Account

    Job Profile

    • Reporting to the Territorial Manager with a dotted line relationship to the Head of Finance, the successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the proper application of SFH and donor policies in the handling of Finances of all projects in the territories.
    • S/He will ensure the efficient management of finances and also ensure adequate records are kept safely and in an easily retrievable manner.
    • S/He will be responsible for sending financial reports to Headquarters and will assist in the drawing up of project budget, its monitoring and the recording of variances.
    • In addition, s/he will reconcile all staff accounts and produce an ageing report and also analyse retirements to ensuring they have both the appropriate approvals and support documents which comply with SFH policies.

    Qualifications/Experience

    • Must possess a first degree (BSc/HND) in Accounting or its equivalent in any related field.
    • ACA and/or masters degree is an added advantage.
    • Must possess minimum of four (4) years post NYSC working experience
    • Must possess a broad knowledge of ERP software like SAP.
    • Must possess excellent planning and organisational skills.
    • Creativity and strong analytical skills are important for this position.
    • Must possess a high level of integrity and responsibility.
    • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
