Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree or Higher Degree with a major in the chosen language (please specify your language of instruction).
• Minimum of 2 years experience.
• A computer with video conferencing capability (webcam & microphone) with stable and reliable internet access.
• Prior experience with online teaching and/or learning would be considered a major advantage.
• Demonstrates mastery of instruction in the chosen language.
• Ability to create standardised lesson plans, which drive instruction through interactive engagement, formative assessment and differentiation.
• Ability to maintain an organised class and support students’ independent learning, collaboration and development.
• Certification or a license from a reputable educational institute would be considered an added advantage.

Job Description

• This role oversees the operational and institutional functions relating to our knowledge services with a particular emphasis on growing our scientific and technical service programs (IDMANN Scientific). Internally, this position oversees the operations team in the Southwest.
• Externally, it ensures effective outreach to prospective students and partner organizations to drive our scientific and technical service programs (through our outreach and engagement teams).
• Successful candidates will be expected to have experience running (or supporting the running of) an educational or scientific establishment, as well as a solid background as a scientist or engineer.
• He/she will be expected to bring first-hand knowledge of the nuances of running a training and human capital development operation, in addition to the core administrative and business development skills needed to drive the technical activities of the organization.
• This position reports directly to the Chief Executive.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have most, if not all of the following:

• Interested candidates should possess a Master's Degree, PhDs / Doctorates Degree / BSc / HND qualification with a minimum of 5 years of work experience.
• A solid background working in an academic, research, development, industrial, or technical organization, with demonstrated ability to support educational service delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver scientific, technical or vocational training services would be a major advantage in the position.
• Demonstrated ability to drive the internal functions as well as interface effectively and seamlessly with external partners, institutions and agencies to expand the footprint of IDMANN Scientific.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate the technical, tutorial and program support staff toward the stated mission of the organization.
• Demonstrated leadership and business development ability.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a culturally and geographically disperse (virtual) team.
• Prior (or current) experience as an instructor/lecturer, research scientist, technical manager, business development specialist, or practice supervisor / manager would be highly desirable.
