    Junior Logistics Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Junior Logistics Officer will support the coordination of day-to-day logistics and haulage operations
    • This role is ideal for an early-career professional looking to build experience in transportation and supply chain management.
    • The successful candidate will assist in tracking deliveries, coordinating drivers, and ensuring smooth operational flow.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in planning and coordinating daily deliveries and haulage activities.
    • Track shipments and provide real-time updates to clients and internal teams.
    • Communicate with drivers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
    • Support documentation processes including waybills, delivery notes, and invoices.
    • Maintain accurate logistics records and update tracking systems.  Assist in monitoring fuel usage and reporting operational issues.
    • Escalate delays, breakdowns, or delivery challenges to senior staff.  Support general administrative tasks within the logistics unit.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • 1 - 2 years experience
    • Basic understanding of logistics or transportation operations.
    • Familiarity with Lagos routes is an advantage.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel)
    • Good communication and willingness to learn.

    Restaurant & Lounge Manager (Fine Dining)

    Job Summary

    • The Restaurant & Lounge Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of a fine dining restaurant and lounge, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, high service standards, and efficient business performance.
    • The role involves managing staff, maintaining quality service delivery, driving revenue, and upholding the brand’s luxury and hospitality standards.

    Key Responsibilities
    Operations Management:

    • Oversee daily restaurant and lounge operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
    • Ensure compliance with fine dining service standards and company policies.
    • Monitor opening and closing procedures, service flow, and overall guest experience.

    Guest Experience & Service Excellence:

    • Maintain exceptional customer service standards in line with fine dining expectations.
    • Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally.
    • Ensure a personalized and memorable dining experience for all guests.

    Staff Management & Leadership:

    • Recruit, train, and supervise front-of-house staff, including supervisors, servers, and hosts.
    • Develop staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage for operations.
    • Monitor performance, provide coaching, and enforce discipline where necessary.

    Revenue & Financial Performance:

    • Drive revenue growth through effective upselling, promotions, and service excellence.
    • Monitor daily sales, expenses, and profitability.
    • Implement cost control measures to optimize financial performance.

    Inventory & Cost Control:

    • Oversee inventory of beverages, service items, and lounge supplies.
    • Ensure proper stock management and minimize waste and losses.

    Compliance & Health Standards:

    • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized environment.

    Brand & Ambience Management:

    • Uphold the restaurant’s brand image, ambiance, and fine dining standards.
    • Ensure music, lighting, décor, and overall atmosphere align with brand expectations.

    Coordination with Kitchen & Bar:

    • Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Ensure timely order execution and consistency in food and beverage quality.

    Reporting & Administration:

    • Prepare operational and performance reports for management.
    • Maintain proper documentation, staff records, and compliance reports.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Proven experience managing a fine dining restaurant or upscale lounge.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
    • Good financial acumen and understanding of restaurant operations.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
    • Relevant degree or certification in Hospitality Management is an advantage.
